The way to ride any new area I find is to use strava , go to maps and press record , your location will now be on screen , now look for ay faint blue lines, these are all the trails the darker the line the more it’s been riden, I find absolutely everything using this method , the secret is that everytime someone rides a trail it leaves a blue line even if they are not saving it to strava .on a separate note look at Staunton mead over the road loads over there .

OK thanks, the 170 will be no good as it won’t go in the frame enough

I’ll throw a curve ball in and say get the holdsworth with sram force groupset, i never review bikes but it’s the best bike ive ever bought , good on the road and better off the road,I bought some dt Swiss wheels to run gravel and used the fulcrum wheels for the road

That’s like comparing the football world cup final to a premier game , im local to cannock and unless you know where all the off pieste is its absolute pants, on the other hand I was at mallards pike last thur – Fri and it was running the best I’ve seen it , just love it there

I’ve got the 150 tm sterio and I think it’s 2.6 max , stick with 2.35 – 2.4 tyres as 2.8 will be too draggy, I’ve taken the magic mary off and gone wild enduro which runs faster

Ide be looking at a canyon strive we all know you get more bike for your money with canyon and for what your spending on a megatower that will get you a top strive , the other reason is the shape shifter so climbing won’t be a problem as it becomes more xc .

I have the Solaris max long shot and love it to bits , I looked at the stanton as well before buying but for Me I wanted to use my old 31.6 dropper where the stanton was 30.9 so I went cotic to save on build price, I do think that cotic are missing a trick tho as stanton do a ‘re spraying option to bring your frame back to new after a few years riding , think cotic would prosper with this option .

Don’t bother all the gud stuff is closed and has been closed all year , think they have given up to be honest ,best bet is to ask someone to show you off pieste trails as their is more of that and pretty good too

Think it has to be the evo hub to boost up and the wheel will need a ‘re dish

I’ve got the Solaris long shot and it’s bloody brilliant its the most stable bike I’ve owned and super slack , think the bfe would b more aggressive due to Fork travel but I’ve got 140mm on my Solaris, how much travel do u need on a hard tail anyway, wot swung it for me is I love 29 ers they are just faster and roll over anything in there way.

Invisiframe doesn’t cover every bit of frame , most of chips are chain stay area

Wow contacted cotic and without any hassle I’m getting a new frame in December when the new batch arrives , and I can keep using this 1 until then , now that is customer service, only trouble I bloody love that mercury finish, I’m now getting an orange 1 instead , shame about the 50 bolts up the tube .

I’ve got the 2019 team c68 and I love it , climbs well and feels more like a trail bike than an enduro bike but will take all the big drops and hits.fantastic spec and only £2800 on line . Be careful with sizing tho , I’m 5”11 and got the large and the seat post is all the way in the frame and just fits

Mmm that’s interesting I’ve got the mercury in large and I tend to pick up a stone chip every ride (peaks tho)so paint might b weak but I have invisiframed it from new ,perhaps I got it at the right time then . On another note it’s the best bike I’ve ever had and it could be yellow for all I care I just love the ride and feel it gives you

I’ve got the Solaris max and my advice is go 130mm travel ,I found this the best for the frame ,and get the best fork u can afford because the max just wants to smash everything

I’ve got old xt crank on my boost frame with no spacers, what you will find tho is you will have to use a 30t ring ,any bigger will catch the chain stay. My frame is Solaris max and raceface ring

I’ve got a cotic soul with 30 ring and it’s about 1mm away from stay and I have no issues at all . Sigh of relief. Awsome frame by the way .

Love these tyre threads ,everyone recommends something different, all I can add is I’ve got a Solaris max 29er and I use nobby nic speedgrip on rear and hans damf on front and it runs bloody good . Had michelin wild enduro on but it was sluggish
