I can imagine, I know it’s improving, it will take time. As I said Orange Home Broadband tops OFCOM customer satisfaction survey.

BTW Wellhung, Orange broadband infastructure is provided by BT

@watty – When was this? Orange Broadband team have been through a massive shake up over the last year or two and are now topping awards for their Customer Services.

IMO the product is good, Service is o.k, price is the chepest…

They have probably stopped sending the liveboxes and the Netgear routers now and you’ll get the new Brightbox.

Had my a week or two now and it’s excellent, also has a USB port so can use it for network storage etc.

Calls I can handle, junk mail from marketing companies I can handle.

It’s the charity clothing sacks that do my head in!!! At least 4 a week from various good causes. I wish I owned that many clothes to give them away every week, (washed and ironed of course).

A number of factors to take into consideration, so looking at a network coverage map may not help with swapping providers.

As previously stated Orange have launched UMA which means it connects over your wifi, they also now share signal with T-Mobile too. Still working on the 3G data element.

In built coverage enhancements such as Picocells etc aren’t cheap.

Could try and divert calls to your landline if you have one, don’t know if you can divert text too though

Agree with most of the comments….Army rations although heavy aren’t bad, if you do use them break down the boxes and shift them round your bergen for weight distribution. If you go down the rat pack route, don’t worry if you don’t poo for a few days, it’s normal but be prepared for when you do ?

Always make sure your next days meals are near the top or in a side pouch, carrying treats in your pockets. Melted Yorkie and Biscuits Brown brings back happy memories.

Add a spoonful of powder chocolate mix to your porridge when you want.

Surprisingly Southern Comfort in coffee is a nice tipple after a cold, hard days jaunt. Kendal Mint cake for day 5 just for the extra sugar hit and a mug of oxtail soup and a crème egg is also great when it’s cold, wet and miserable.

Always check your Bergen when you stop at a pub otherwise you’ll find you’ve carried the carry out for the group up the next big climb

Thanks for the advice, some I will take with a pinch of salt though :-)

With regards to the house it is joint tenancy, she has broken promise to pays 3 or 4 times since I moved out and defaulted on the mortgage once. I’ve already told her I don’t want any money out of it, I just need my stuff (including my bikes!). So I’m starting from scratch, it is amazing how friends pull together and help you out, I think I’ve kitted my new rental out for about £300!

Emotionally, I am over her (still love her, even after everything) but this is probably due to her being the mother of my kids. The BF on the other hand is a total arse! I’m in contact with his wife (yes both were married, both have kids) and he finds it acceptable to only pay £5 a month for his two based on the CSA calculator (which he hasn’t paid).

The joys of being self employeed and blaging tax returns! So as a role model for my kids, it’s a tough one to swallow.

    Cheers all,

The house is on the market and has been on since before I moved out. She’s broken the mortgage 4 times and defaulted on it once, so my credit rating is through the floor.

I’ve checked about having my name removed from the mortgage and I’d walk away with nothing. The bank has said that she needs 12 months solid payments to show affordability, that’s not going to happen.

My financial statement went in last year with the solicitor but she never replied, so still waiting

With regards to why I’m bothered, I worked hard to buy that house, my kids are there and confused at what is going on too.

Thanks for the advice so far.

The mortgage is in joints names (hers first)

With regards to right of entry, I tried this last year (3 days after I’d moved out). An argument started and I left, long story short she called the police 10 mins after I left and claimed I assaulted her, no witnesses her word against mine.

I was brought in and charged with common assault, CPS took the case on too. It went to court and was thrown out due to all the holes in her statement and no case to answer.

I asked the police if I can get my stuff and they warned me to be careful because it can now be classed as breech of the peace!

Just to make sure no one thinks I beat woman, I did not lay a finger on her or go anywhere near her!

Bought a pair 2nd hand from here and they're great.

Only issue is the square taper on a Giant Trance doesn't fit in the support arm properly. Probably wouldn't move but I still secure a tie to it.

Also don't undo all the securing clamps and think I'll get my gloves out of the car. The bike will fall off and hit you in the back

Another Canon 500D purchaser and just learning how to use it.

Currently £50 cash back by redemption. I also used Quidco and got another 10% cashback from Jessops (currently 4% at the mo)
