Just been through this after paying £65 a month for basic telephone, XL tv, 60meg broadband , TiVo box plus another box upstairs.
Sky wanted about the same money plus it means my broadband would be landline , BT was cheap at around £38 but for only one box and losing a lot of channels and also the extra channels you get are streamed through your broadband so could be tricky at peak times with buffering.
So I pushed Virgin to do something about my package price and I dropped down to L on the TV and they have done it for 43quid which I am happy with.

IMO – Virgin is probably not as slick as Sky but they are still streets ahead on broadband so I am glad to be sticking with them , getting a Smart TV today so hopefully will use the features like internet on the TV when the little one steals the IPad for her games etc

Moving my mobile from EE/Orange to Virgin Sim only too which will save me around £30 per month so all in all it’s going to be a net saving of approx £50 per month – happy days !

After three trips back and forth to his boss he will come back and say “8600 that our best offer and you don’t want to lose the deal for a couple of hundred quid do you?” And you say
” neither do you £8300 is my final offer here’s my debit card/ cash deposit ( put on the desk) and do we have a deal ?”
He says ” let me speak to my Manager ” as he walks off let him get to the office and then follow him and give him your phone number on a piece of paper and say” here’s my number I’ve got to go , let me know if we can agree my deal “
    And walk out……….

Bet you get a call or don’t get out the car park

Is it not split in two halves?
We have one we got in France about 10 years ago and it’s neck is split where it meets the body and attaches with a big dowel

But I doctored some proper clothes- a hoody and a pair of jeans so it was more realistic, loads of fake blood and it looked fantastic, easy to do just cut out and stitch in as the costume is a bit poor

I bought this one a few years ago as it was the flushest I could find without spending big money, been up a few years now with no problems on a 42inch tv
Very robust , ignore the hitachi bit unless they are different just look through the store to find the same that’s compatible

Doddle to put up ( I used this suff ) plus threaded rods and bolts

It just hooks on top and bottom then two security bars stop it from being pushed off

For thirty quid ( have they gone up now?) the decathlon one is spot on, I had to cut down the seattube slightly to accommodate my little girls short legs but apart from that it’s been brilliant

I had to go to a place in Netherfield for the dipping , the powdercoaters were really good as there was a bit of a mark in the coat on the seat stay and he wouldn’t let me have it back without sorting it first- a true sign of pride in their work
