If you haven’t already seen it, then this is a great video clip for running through a plane restoration:

Hasbean are very good. I gather Pact are pretty decent too although I’ve not used them personally

How about a nice pair of 32 hole Ryde Trace Enduro rims on blue Hope Pro 2 Evo 40t hubs. Handbuilt with DT Swiss Comp spokes. Dead straight and true. Fitted with yellow Stan’s tape and valves so all ready for going tubeless.

Nice, stiff, wide and relatively light wheels

    £180 including delivery

Evos generally have Evo written on them

He’s bloody awful and only made worse by that annoying twunt Brian Smith. Worst commentating combo there is.

Nice one, cheers all. Definitely looks to be worth some hardware investment then.

It’s mainly photo stuff that is running slowly as they’re probably the most intensive things I do but even things like itunes and excel have been taking a good while.

I made this over the last few months:

Started with some drawings and two chunks of alder and I’ve now got myself a rather nice guitar. It’s a replica of the one that was custom built for John Squire from the Stone Roses had in 1990.

They’re M5 bolts but Thomson changed from a 4mm hex head to a 3mm hex head a few years back as they had too many instances of people breaking stems by way over-tightening the 4mm hex headed bolts. Changing to a 3mm hex head reduces the likelihood of this happening

    Poddy was just plain wrong

3mm seems a bit weedy for a steerer clamp
I’ve seen them on another brand of stem (Richey..?) and they’re crap. Wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.
    2 x M4 for the clamp
    4 x M4 for the faceplate.
    Perfect. That’s all you need.

Really? M4 bolts won’t manage much clamping.

    Oh and DiscJockey is correct

Thursday morning for me was organic muesli and single estate coffee breakfast, then off to my morning yoga class which was followed by a pot of loose leaf Earl Grey tea before I nipped off to the theatre to collect tickets for the ballet.

Hines’ bike is totally different to the others. Might be to do with the amount of power he has put down on that start.

Anyone else notice Sagan appearing to wheelspin as he got along side Greipel?

It was either “Hole in my Shoe” by Neil or “Run to the Hills (Live)” by Iron Maiden. I can’t remember which one but both were on 7″ and from WHSmiths

Nope. Flat mount calipers mount too close to allow space for an adapter.

You can adapt a PM or IS caliper to a FM frame but not the other way round

No worries. Pretty sure that the TT on my bike is 20.5″ but feels a bit longer than that. I have access to a courier that can send internationally so it might not be too bad.

    Well within your budget.

    I’m 6’4″ for reference

The Stone Roses’ Reni is definitely one of the best drummers I have seen or heard. Great swing and his drumming really serves the music.

Most fastener places will sell to you in lower numbers but there is often a minimum charge of a fiver or something.

Assuming the 2cm shown in the 2nd drawing is the length of the vertical to the left of the note rather than the horizontal then they’re both pretty simple to work out.

I must admit to not having read the question properly and trying to work out the areas which is really hard (ie impossible with that little info)

I’ve seen Peaty’s FW bike described as tweed and tartan but it’s not really either of them. Much more like argyle I would say. I quite like it and it has definitely done its job of getting noticed and talked about

Well, I thought it was pretty decent really. Slightly odd arrangement at the start with the triple chorus repeat thing but after that it definitely held its own. I reckon it’ll be a grower and hoping that it’ll be part of a decent album. Musically I liked it but the lyrics are a little sing-a-long

Mostly I’m relieved as it is nowhere near as bad I feared it might be.

I’m really hoping that it is good but have a horrible feeling that it won’t match the lofty expectations.

    Fingers crossed for the former
