Had this but with a crank bolt. LBS drilled it out carefully without damaging the crank threads and cost me a tenner.

Must be the frame size that makes it look small.

Ended up getting a brand new black stanchioned 125mm integra for £125 in the end. Don’t mind the small amount of play as both my normal LEVs had this from new and after servicing. Its hardly noticeable when riding and at £125 I can definitely live with it!

1×10 on mine with 40t hope expander. Lot of money for it tho so superstar one would be a good bet.

With the money saved on the expander get a saint shifter from Evans (get the £5 newsletter discount) unless its cheaper at CRC etc

Had a reverb before my LEVs and it was nothing but trouble. Cable is so much easier IMO

Never really liked the raw…but those pics really catch the light well. Very, very nice.

    Almost, almost tempted…

Is that 30t up front? It looks tiny!

Some of the new Konas have the black integra. Think the 153DL, so they’re definitely around.

5’7″ and 29″ leg and have a 16.5. Running 50mm/740mm cockpit, 125mm/385mm LEV dropper (with about 1.5″ inch showing) and 170mm cranks.

Fit is good but probably could go shorter stem/wider bar tbh.

Yeah, bought it from a nice guy on pinkbike who works at a bike shop.

I’ve just picked up a brand new integra for £125. It’s also got the new black stanchion too. Well chuffed :)

I’m on a slackline 16.5 with 29″ legs and 5’7″. 50mm stem and 740mm bars. Feels great albeit tempted to go shorter stem and wider bars. Running 170mm cranks too

You’re not the only one Leku…I’ve been waiting to find out what they’ve renamed it to!

As above…but bed them in properly.

Thomson elite has the same issue as the reverb and others where the cable isn’t static which I personally don’t like. I hear it got one of the smoothest motions though and doesn’t suffer from play which is why I love a covert…but can’t justify the cost.

LEVs on my bikes. Good thing is that you can manually raise the post if something fails or replace the cable out on a ride, which you can’t with a reverb (unless you take bleed kit with you!). I would however like to try a Thomson covert on my new stealth frame…but £300 is pretty steep so a it might have to be a LEV integra.

No idea on the postage…probably a few £.

Will give them a call tomorrow or Monday along with 18bikes to see who has it in stock.

Maybe you should mass market them and undercut the competition?! ;)

Yeah…grinder, vernier, lathe & hacksaw purchases will equate to more than loco’s £7.50!

You don’t need to know the ‘other stuff’…go exploring to find it! ;)

Cheers Stu…didn’t know you could get an adapter. Can you tell I’m not mechanically minded!

Adapter and 18bikes socket it is and I’ll be able to torque it correctly too.

I’ve just bought a Capra AL2 for under £2k. Granted I have to wait 12 weeks but with that spec and price I’d have waited 6 months!

Yeah 18bikes do machined sockets here but they’re 1/2 and I’d need 3/8.

Lunarbikes in the US do specific wrenches for RS and Fox forks but quite expensive shipping etc.

I can pick up the Suzuki/Kawasaki one for about £10 and they’re fully closed so shouldn’t cause much if any damage unlike an unmachined socket or cone wrench

Used to get really sore back on a alu HT but found a steel and more recently a ti frame has been much better when sat down. However hovering over the saddle on the bumpy stuff has been the main cure. Quite easily do 4-5 hours now on a ti HT without issue. Running lower tyre pressure also helps.

My 661s fell apart after about 3 months…not impressed. Bought TLD Airs and they’re brilliant. Into their second year, nice and breathable, the palms are excellent (plenty thin but durable) and come in loads of colours. Are a bit more expensive…and are really difficult to find in the UK at the moment. You can get them from the continent though for about €30 inc postage. Actually with current exchange rate I think I’ll by another pair now! Lol

Whatever floats your boat. I’m pushing 40 (soonish) and I bought one last year after not having one since I was 15.

If they squeek without you applying pressure then presumably the pads are rubbing on the rotor…so caliper and rotor not aligned properly?

    +1 SLX…finish is really hardwearing

Taking bar length into account may help too. My 16.5 felt a bit compact for me with 740mm bars…stuck 780mm on it and its perfect

Think you can get them for the latest Reba’s. They’re black and come with a replacement cap to screw them into.

The new Reba RLs with black stanchions at 120mm and with tokens would be my choice if I had a Soul again.

Wheels? Everyone goes on about Hope…but I’d go spank oozy tbh.

Decided to hit the button this weekend on one. The dates have already moved from May to June on the ALu 2 version :(

    At 5’7 I guess I’d be after a medium?

Anyone know what seat tube diameter the capra has?

No, I got mine from CRC when they were doing £15 off orders over £100 (adding a sticker for 70p to make it over £100) and then used a discount code from a nice STWer. Came in about £80 in the end.

    Very comfy, no buzz…really impressed.

Bums come in all shapes and sizes…but all my bikes have Charge or Fabric Scoops. Very comfy on HT or FS, inexpensive, relatively light 245g, good range of colours…and brilliantly easy to clean too!

Really enjoying my carbon sixc bars at 780mm. Can’t believe I thought 740mm were the best width. You could try a pair of carbon knuckleballs…not sure they’re still on sale though.

Had a henge (143mm) and it was bloody awful and hard as a brick.

Charge (Fabric) Scoop on both bikes now…and no more arse ache.

Wish more companies did try and buy schemes tho like specialized.
