Northwind – so do I come to you now to fix my warranty issues? :D

I was under the same impression as Northwind that the contract is with the retailer, therefore they are responsible for the warranty under sale of goods act 1974?

Whatever happens…I just need mine not to break anytime soon!

Knowing the value of money…good lad. Obviously being brought up well…especially being weened onto a Soul!

Seen one on fleabay and it looks pretty nifty…certainly different from the norm.

This is watched every night in my household…even though I’ve watched all episodes countless times…they all still make me laugh.

Penny was much hotter in the earlier episodes before she started gyming it.

There’s loads of characters from Roseanne too.

+1 for Trek Ex. Loads of good deals on last year’s models (paid full price for my ex8..what a tit!)

I ride Cannock and Wales (CYB mostly). The ABP rear just soaks up everything you throw at it and is no slouch on the climbs. The Hans Dampf have made a real difference to the grip too. Tubeless on the Bonty rims is a piece of piss (although an extra £20 for valves and seals and tlr tyres needed)

Dropper routing is also great for the reverb.

If you’re a size 10 then a guy is selling a new pair on here for £55…or Shimano AM41’s. I really rate mine.

The reason I ask is that I’ve heard the stopping power on the slx with ice techs is really good at 160. I’m only 80kg and don’t see me using the soul as hardcore hardtail as like a bfe

matt23 – the Pipedream, Sanderson, Slackline Sherpa (if it ever comes out) are some…but all miss a vital ingredient (not sure on the sherpa tho)…31.6mm dropper compatability (unless you’re happy with 27.2mm).

If you can get a hold of the 26er Genesis Latitude frame…they’re OK too.

honourablegeorge – orange and green are very vivid and draw lots of attention, but the matt blue looks understated in a refined kind of way I think.

Personally I’d loved a Soul in the Bfe/Solaris blue

Look beautiful, ride beautifully…the only real issue…is what colour?!

My orange is unbelievably eye catching…but so is the new green and duck egg.

I really wouldn’t bother TBH mate. Still no guarantee it would sell and the weight would put a buyer like me off. Think they’re 2000gm.

As mentioned earlier, probably better to break up and sell individually.

    Best of luck!

Renton-don’t worry my Alfie does exactly the same! At least yours wees on others feet…my Alfie sits beside me and pees all over me!

Don’t have a Springer, but Springador bred for being a gun dog. Bit bigger than a Springer but much smaller than a lab. Admittedly he’s crazy crossed with crazier, but he’s friendly and get on great with all kids. He never stops running when we’re out…would love a dog pedometer to see how much ground he covers…his stamina is incredible.

I would certainly pay a premium, provided that the pre and after care service is good. For example Cy and Paul at Cotic always help and answer queries and not necessarily to gain sales and reach out to customers for their input on new designs. Shandcycles are on here looking to gain insight from customers and be helpful amongst others. I don’t see Trek or the like with their vast resources on this forum. For me, this is the difference and if this keeps jobs in the UK, building bikes specifically for UK conditions then that’s a brilliant thing. I appreciate we can’t all spend vast sums and we should live within our means, so if UK brands could get 0% finance that would also be a major boost.

Resin in the dry, sintered in the wet (although I always forget to change so use sintered most of the time…plus the weather’s always shite).

IMO don’t bother with the finned jobs and make sure you do a good few fast stops to really bed them in (at least a dozen).

Troy Lee Air gloves for me…at least for summer. Best fitting, durable and comfy gloves I’ve ever owned…and I’ve gone through loads!

IMO Rajis are thinner than loo roll and less durable.

Nearly bought one last year, but the swing arm rubbing my legs made it an issue for me and also the lack of bottle bosses. I also prefer shimano gears

Think it got 8/10 in a mag for being a good aggressive bike, but needed to change the stock tyres. Might have been mbr?

Applied to mbr last month but only to get the camelbak. Still not sure if I got it as you had to be in the first 100

I got mine from bike discount de, but this was last year when the exchange rate was better

    2×10 Cranks £97
    Brake pair m675 £107
    Shifters £47

As an aside if you get the shifters and want to remove the displays, you will need to buy the dust covers seperately for £1.99 each side (as they don’t supply them like the old m660).

    Cheers

Had something similiar, however I was in a great deal of pain peeing. Doc told me it was the worst UTI he had seen and I was stupid for not seeing him two weeks earlier. The pot was practically the colour of vimto.

Slightly unrelated but relevant…once forgot eating beetroot, did a no.2 (not in the basin) only to think my insides had fallen out through some kind of horrific bowel cancer.

It took my wife 10 mins to calm me down before we both realised what had caused it.
