The wheels took two weekends to strip them of their decals and 1 litre of nail varnish remover! AC All Mountains…brilliantly strong and light, but bloody awful colours (red/white) that felt like they had been laser etched.

I think that is all the difference…no open or pedal, just low speed compression and lock.

Still has the charge damper which is the highlight of the fork. I have a rct pike which is still waiting to be used…hopefully sometime over this weekend!

Depends on the year. Bought a pair from Ribble but they couldnt tell which year they are?!

Bought a pair of wheels from them yesyerday only to realise I may not be able to convert the front hub and they couldnt advise exactly which year they were. The did however say that if I didnt like them or couldnt convert them they would arrange collection free of charge…so not bad IMO.

I take it your getting it from Wheelbase? Thought they were a decent set of lads when I got a bike from them and they really sold the riding around where theyre based.

Ran one without issue for 6 months. The plastic grooves quite badly after a while and you need to flip it over. The downside is that it costs a tenner for a new one when both sides are worn (or it did last time I had checked).

Bit fiddly to put on with to begin with too.

Not sure when Atherton did it but they had airlifted lots of rocks to protect it when I was there in Aug which made the top section coming down a hoot (really loose boulders)…but a pain in the arse (literally) going up.
