I bought proper 3m stuff off eBay for £11 that has done 2 bikes and it practically covered every inch of the bikes. It is thick compared to invisitape etc but lasting really really well without any discolouring. Its especially good on the downtubes.

Not sure I could strap those to the front of my bike? ;)

My wolftooth has been faultless. Bit chunkier than the oneup and its shimano/SRAM specific so no need for a spacer.

Germany v Holland final I reckon.

At least Utd may have one cup winner on their books in van Gaal in 2014. ;)

Size wise…I’m a 38 chest and have a UK/US small (international M/M) and have bags of room.

I’m a pack person so not worried about the one chest pocket thing. Really thin and comfy…and doing well with the brambles…so far!

Same experience here with winstanleys. The only company I order from when not in stock was Leisure lake…and they were really good about turnaround times.

Get yourself over to Cannock but go exploring on your own around there and Brocton looking for the off piste stuff. I happily get lost and seem to find new bits all the time. After 2 years of exploring I’m only now starting to feel like I can do an planned off piste route.

Not one puncture in over 3 years now since going tubeless. I only ever carry a tube when in Wales…and even then I’ve never needed it. I think its 4 years old now!

KMC on all bikes over the last 3 years and never an issue…but I only ever buy the ‘L’ as the ‘SL’ is lighter weight and prone to snapping from what I can gather.

No idea…but let me know when you do buy one!

Not sure about the m665 double…but the m675 double needs to have the bolt tabs filed down if using rings of 32t and below as the chain rubs over them (unless you use spacers with the bolts to move the ring further away from the tabs, giving the chain more room)

Word of warning – SLX double has chain rubbing issues with NW rings below 34t

Try Ashtonpowderingcompany…did an ace job on a cotic soul in oyster white. Look for the thread on here. Think you may need to get it lacquered elsewhere though, but the powdering was only £30 or something.

^^^+1 Don’t think my crossrides are tubeless ready but worked fine with one layer of tubeless tape and valves.

Might be some cheap endura pakajaks on eBay?

The brand new v12 are thinner (16mm against 25mm) so might be a worthier investment?

On another note…I do hate the stans/superstar valves for this reason. American classic valves are friggin amazing with rubber o ring making it all air tight straight away. Why they only make them in red is beyond me?!

Had this before. I put plenty stans fluid in and pumped up and heard and saw the stans escaping at the valve hole at the lock ring. I just kept shaking and shaking…repumping and shaking until the stans eventually sealed it all up. I also used a flat plastic object to really push the valve down and tightened the lock ring really tight which also helped.

That’s interesting…as my issues are stiffness going from the bottom of the cassette (first to fourth cog) and get easier towards the top?

Think the delivery date is 1st July. Don’t really want to fork out £20 if the shifting isn’t significantly different.

I had similarish issue but where I had adjusted the lever reach too close to the bars and they went really spongy…moved them further away and they were fine. This was after they were bled twice. Apparently its a known issue. Not sure this helps but try this first before a bleed?

Calling Mr Northwind…any chance you could please post a review of this when you get it fitted and ridden?

How much did it cost BTW and was it exempt from duty etc like their cogs?

    Cheers

Anyone tried using the mystery code and ‘upgrade’…it wouldn’t work for me?

Very nice. Almost bought one but the frame alone was pretty expensive. Saw a equally nice Reba build knocking around at 22lb on a US site.

I take it your bike accepts 142×12?

Not sure if that axle should be OK, but if you find out it is then you can get that axle from Evans for £17 by signing up to their newsletter and claiming a fiver off your basket using the code they send you (original price is £21ish).

    Cheers

As per svalgis, I’m 78kg with no tokens in my 26″ 150mm and blowing through the travel real easy. Desperately need a couple asap. Think loco does them for £10 per pair.
