Depot was loads better dust wise when most people used liquid chalk between lockdowns and also numbers were limited, now its back to 80,000 capacity in the evenings you can see the dust clouds when you walk in like appearing on stars in their eyes.

I sprayed by gravel bike in lockdown 1,used the matt lacquer and didn’t do enough coats I think. It looked great but hasn’t lasted very well.

I’ve promised myself a dream bike when I hit 10% body fat as otherwise saving weight is useless (thus ensuring I don’t need to spend more as it isn’t going to happen), as noted by others my gx hardtail and 105 gravel bike are fine, can keep up with mates on 7k dreambike and not too worried about crashing/scratching them. Also heavier bikes must make me stronger right? For the moment only climbing UK hills not Apline climbs so bikes suit my needs cycling to work and not getting out on the mtb much due to family and living in Manchester. I’d probably spend more if I lived in peaks/lakes/wales/Scotland with awesome rides on my doorstep, prefer to spend on family hols.

@reggiegasket ikat is v good but Abstract Lens is better, all down to personal taste but worth a go. I spent months avoiding Roaster Coaster as I love coffee but have never liked many coffee stouts, picked up the can most weeks and never purchased, massive error have probably had 30 cans of it now, best supermarket stout.

Tiny rebel imperial puft, the stronger version loads better IMHO.

From tesco, North – Abstract lens DIPA & Brewdog roaster coaster 9% nitro stout. In my opinion best DIPA and strong stout in supermarket currently.

Anything from Verdant, Deya, Cloudwater, Track, Wylam for IPA/DIPA/TIPA.

Agree loads of better beers about these days but roaster coaster 9% nitro stout (available in Tesco) is very good.

And does this mean he’ll need to catch covid 2 weeks out from each grand slam or I’m guessing other countries entry restrictions are less restrictive? What happens if there is no wave for the next Australian open will he be jetting around trying to find someone to infect him?

Not quite the same but when growing up one of the local boy racers re arranged the word Escort on his suped up Ford to spell Scrote which I thought was funny and surprisingly honest of him. Yes it was Stoke.

grew up in Lightwood, mates still live in stone/leek, moved away for Uni and only go back to see family/mates, spent 20 years slagging the place off but must be ok if my mates/family stayed there? Agree there are some very shit places there but same could be said of most cities.

Facebook marketplace is your friend, 3 seat and 2 seat brown leather as new that someone had bought to fill a room they didn’t use. Sofa’s free but cost us £35 to send man + van to huge posh house to collect. Bought and delivered same day to replace previous DFS sofa which slowly fell to bits.

Really enjoyed it, tried for the past 2 mornings to get up at 3am to run 20km with a heavy pack before work but snoozed the alarm. The queue on Everest was depressing.

@Superficial I was a member from buying school ‘shoes’ (Air Force 1) for my daughter, email arrived this morning saying use code OCT21 for 20% off sale items so yeah I guess join and then use the code. Previously looked at the wildhorse but beyond my usual tight budget without this saving but my Asics now have 5 holes across the pair so need new shoes.

Extra 20% off Nike sale items nike.com for members makes Wildhorse 7 £61.58 so might take the plunge based on what people have said about this shoe on here.

Did a late shop at Tesco extra Irlam last night (after 10pm) some pumps closed, 1 other car on forecourt, drove on and got £30 of diesel (no limit as far as I could see). Top tip if you live near Irlam that Tesco store is always dead for shopping and fuel always do my xmas food shop there as it’s bliss compared to Asda at Trafford Park, how the place is still open I have no idea.

Eldest tested positive (PCR) on wednesday after a faint line on Lflow she did for school that morning so far rest of family negative, she’s just tired/headache with a bit of a cough, I think currently I know more people with covid than I’ve ever done family/friends/neighbours/work colleagues probably about 10 that I know of that have tested positive this week/last week.
