I have the 2-bliss versions on my Soul. I think they come up quite big for a 2.3.

I find them quite flexible, but really grippy, even running at 35 psi plus. They have been good on singletrack and fireroads, but I haven’t tried and serious rocks yet.

I’ve done it a couple of times in the past.

The top section is singletrack and very broken up in places, so a few dabs are in order. It flattens out for maybe a mile before the ‘quarry’ section which is pretty rocky at the top, followed by some fast switchbacks. Once you hit the bottom of the quarry its quick road/bridleway in Glenridding.

It’s got a bit of everything and I found a real challenge, especially the first time as it was after about 8 hours pushing and riding. Some of the folk on MTBBritain really rate it and I know they are riding 95% of it (good work on that top section).

Well worth doing if you ask me.

As someone who uses stats and probability on a daily basis I have read this thread avidly. I came to it once the answer had been agreed several times and so until now have not felt the need to comment.

But I would now like to say Graham S you truly have the patience of a saint!

Clothes are made from cotton. Cotton is a plant. Cotton grown using organic methods is organic cotton.

How does the country in which they’re made affect whether they’re organic?

How about clothes made from Organic Cotton? Minimum inputs for the manufacturing process is probably something to avoid.

"I called them but the person on the phone told me there’s no way they’ll order a bike until I have the voucher in my hand"

Arse, I was going to try that tomorrow

I might mither HR though, just for kicks you understand.

I think the official date is when they can be arsed, or a week either side!

Our plan closed on 12/12 and details were sent by HR the next week (apparently). I’m certainly not holding my breath, or expecting to ride my new bike before mid-february.

I had to have a root canal and then a crown on one of my molars. Up to the point of going to the dentist I spent a week holding cold pint glasses to the side of my face and fighting back tears every time I had something hot.

Doing it privately it was 180 for the root canal and 420 for the best white crown I could get.

To be honest during the week before I would have paid double or treble.

I’m in if there’s still room.

The events I’ve planned for this year will go much more smoothly if I let go of the odd pound or two!
