Went camping in Chamonix last July, can’t get better views than that, top class camp site here http://www.chamonix-camping.com/
Plenty of trails from green to black grade there too, but mostly on the hardcore side. Loads to see and do if you get tired of the bike too.

Stop off in Epernay on the way down and sample the delights of the Champagne region http://www.epernay.fr/en/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=7

I have an 09 Genius 40. I’ve had it about a month and ridden it on all kinds of trails, even did an uplift day at Innerleithen. I’ve found that if you follow the chart on the shock but take 10kgs of your weight and set the pressure at that feels much more responsive, absolutely hugs the trails. On the 1 – 10 rebound setting I set it at 3, for increased damping, seems to work a treat. The main thing is to match the fork and for rebound so you’re not yo-yoing on the decents.
I’m loving the TC mode and find that on smoother red routes (spooky wood) full travel (150mm) is not required as you get more of a lift from TC mode……Sweet ride.

Scott Progressive!!!! the best gloves by far. I’ve had mine for 18 months and throw them in the wash after every ride with other kit….still 100% They are a bit pricey but well worth it.

    Hey Smee,

Any further details of this trial from the boundary to lee pen or is it easy to find?

    Cheers
