About a month ago I had a 24hour bug that wiped me out, two weeks after that the flu knocked me out and I’m only just coming out the other side. After yesterday’s ride I felt awful and I want it gone now. Horrible winter!

yep, should be fine, mines a mix of etap and dura ace and cannondale stuff. All works fine now.

Fairly standard practice…… In 2008 when everyone was dumping distressed assets, I purchased a block of six garages on a site I speculated would be a target for house builders. 4 years later and a long battle with Barratts and the Local authority I sold the garages to Barratts who needed the site to bring forward a 150 new houses development. The purchase price was below my valuation so I had a series of overage clauses in the sale which were triggered on sales values of the houses on site as well as the overall profit targets, which if exceeded would trigger overage payments to me.

Been through this at some length before, but for those at the back who weren’t paying attention, I don’t want a sodding subscription! Guys and girls – don’t buy etap if you intend to fit it onto a supersix- despite sram shipping demo supersix bikes with the etap system the failed to tell people it dosent work with a hollowgram crank – see below response…. Grrrr (yes I know early adopter, my fault … Blah blah)

The front derailleur braze-on tab on the Cannondale SuperSix unfortunately does not conform to our drivetrain specifications, including SRAM’s eTap frame fit specification. To help address this issue, as a courtesy we will soon be offering a shorter version limit screw set. This set will not be available until after March 1. In the interim, the current front derailleur screws can be very carefully shortened (this needs to be done by hand), but please know this will not address any potential shifting issue that arises due to the braze on being out of specification.

Please have your local bicycle dealer contact our service center in your area for more information on the arrival times for the shorter limit screw set.

not a massive amount of clearence on 23mm with wide rims but they dont rub (thankfully).

depends on the width of the rim – my 2014 supersix frame wont take a 25mm with a 25mm wide rim. Its fine with a 24mm wide rim with a 25mm tyre!

What mboy said. Having ridden both the pro one are more supple and feel like a normal tyre as opposed to the std one which felt rock hard regardless of pressure.

I live just outside of London and last Feb purchased a second hand piaggio MP3500 (the one with three wheels) – its classified as a trike and having never ridden a motorbike, not wanting a small engine the Mp3 with a big 500cc and the ability to ride it with a driving license was perfect.

Fast forward 10 months and i love it. It saves me about an hour on the bike v train commute per day, not chasing trains and i look forward to it.

I have a decent helmet (Nolan N44 high viz) Armoured jacket from ebay, an apron to keep my legs dry and warm…..

Do it, you wont regret it.
