I changed to 1×10 about 8 months ago with a 32 11:36 combo. To be honest it was a day before I was embarking on the c2c. I wish I had done it sooner, much more consistent with my climbing in keeping speed and cadence.

We had a double bed in our little mans room, unfortunately it gets uses a lot even after 16 months. There are no right or wrongs, you will shortly work it out.

Ride yesterday was a mixed bag, some places slow and boggy, others have had so much rain the mud has washed away to reveal a gravel / stony ground. All rideable but for the sake of the terrain, I will stay away until we have had a sustained dry period.

Work really well under tights!

Today’s ride report – conditions fairly gloppy, slow and likely to get worse with the incoming rainfall. Lots of trees across numerous trails, probably best to avoid the area if you can. Wish I had.

I have the farsport 38mm clinchers, 2500 miles in and so far they have been amazing. Now my friends mostly snigger when i say they are direct from china, but im delighted with them.

I have been running a 10 speed chain on an XX1 ring for almost 7 months without an issue – with a 10 speed power link.

I have an F11 525d – great car. It’s flipping huge, very good on fuel and very comfortable for our small family. I say small, the plan was for a bigger one but sadly health reasons have put and end to that dream….. 🙁
