I'd be happy to show you a few routes……however…….

I've been under the knife recently so won't be riding for another few months :-(

Get out on the DVATC rides and you'll pick some up in the area.

And always pack with grease before fitting it.

It's all in the links (apparently).

My neighbour has his own web design company Fish Media[/url] and does small sites quite cheap.

Also done stuff with Brawn F1, CenterParcs, M&S so knows his stuff.

    Worth a call I'd say.

Yup. Tubeless all the way with reliable hubs. Just don't get alloy nipples.

Disco brakes in Shimano and Juicys for about 2 years. Not had a problem.

They wear out marginally quicker than EBC etc., but are about a third the price.

Or just save a fresh copy and delete the bits you don't want.

I spotted one yesterday. Look good for the cash. Not on their website though.

At that price even I would be tempted to try SS

JKW in Alfreton fill aerosols with any colour you want. If you need aerosol, you should be able to get lacquer with a bit of red in it made up.

Or if you have access to spray gear, mix it yerself.

Had an operation on 4 Jan, so riding for me, and probably none 'til April.

Had a few sets of J 5s that came on bikes. Worked fine. Good brakes, awkward pad replacement, noisy when hot.

Currently got Hopetech M4s. They are nice, look good, easy to use etc, but are nothing exceptional performance wise.

Also got SLX levers with XT calipers and they really rock. Easy to replace pads, easy bleed, great feel and power for UK riding.

If I was buying new brakes for UK riding it would be XT or SLX.

Is it just me that is captivated by looking at a list of times of people I've never met, riding in circles at a place I've never been to?

Think I need to get out more.

Mind you, I'm practically unable to do anything following my tennis elbow operation last week, so this is as exciting as it get for me for a couple of months.

Fair play to the riders, and diggers and organisers.

And that Alex Glasgow is flying still 8O

Throw 'em over lamp posts on the nearest council estate.

(actually our local tip recycles them)

You could try turning the front mech slightly so it just misses the tyre and see if it still shifts okay.

Worked for me a few times.

If however you need an excuse to buy more stuff, clearly this is a stupid idea :D

Off work following Tennis Elbow surgery, so not allowed to owt. Bored after only a week.

Tried to get tea ready but peeling spuds with left hand only is a laff!

    Err……yes and yes :-)

Follow the instructions using hairdrier etc. You can plaster lots of the bike and you will barely see the tape.

I also made an "invisible" chainstay protector by sandwiching a slip of innertube between two layers of HT on the underside of my chainstay.

I've had TE for two years. Had the full range of treatments. Rest, Physio, Ultrasound, Injection by GP, injection by specialist (that hurt like hell, but worked perfectly for 3 months) but it then came back with a vengeance.

Had surgery on it on Monday. Unable to use right arm for at least a month (off work) then 3-6 month recovery period. Probably off the bike for 3 months 8-( Can't do any bike fettling, can't even get out and take MTB pics.

Not what you want to hear!

Initially go for total rest, lots of daily icings, then try the exercises suggested.

Believe me, you don't want to go down the surgery route.

I also have it to a lesser degree in left arm.

Seems things start hurting more at a "certain" age.

teamyeti – It's just the entry including the bus transfers to the start and finish.

I have my entry available, another 2 mates I was going with also have there's available if you want to take a friend.

I've got an entry and can't make it now. Mate's getting maried the weekend after and it's stag weekend that weekend. How inconsiderate.

    Anyone interested?
