Not sure what the difference is betwen by "standard" Blur and a superlight, anyone help?

as pauly said… there's no linkage on a SL. Just simplicity.

Aside from it being a bike, I'm so sure that the bar ends, middleburn? cranks, mudguards, wierd looking old saddle don't ruin it ..

Barends – for enduro comfort and climbing and are Carbon ergo stubbies.
Middleburn – what's wrong there, I fail to see an issue ??
Mudguards – The rear one prevents the Joplin from seizing up and the front one stops me getting sheep shit in my mouth.
Saddle – Flite Ti, which I've had on 4 bikes and is the most comfortable saddle for me.

I think my weight actually went up…. 😉 and i've been riding hard this week…. 40 miles of commuting in the snow and cold should have done something 😥

My Endura's have suffered the same fate after barely 10 rides. The problem is I bought them in the spring and can't find the receipt. Do you think a letter to Endura with the offending overshoes may result in a new pair ??

Dan – if you're 67th in waiting I think you might be lucky. There was lots of activity in the "transfer market" on the run up to the event last year

I got in luckily… but none of my fellow riders…. 🙁

    981st late last night……

Hopefully it'll be as good as last year. Superlight this year instead of Cross bike. I learnt my lesson 😉

    See you all in April…

My front 717 has been going for 4 years too. It's built onto a Hope xc hub and has been spot on…. I run 2.3 tyres, ride Natural routes, Trail centres and enduros and am 16 stone…..

The key to a good wheel is the build. Often your LBS might be the best choice…. depends what your LBS is like though…

I don't mind wearing lycra, and do every day on the commute (usually under waterproofs)

I tend to wear baggies over te top at trail centres and when out with group, as I don't like people staring at my infeasibly large package

Sealskins are fine you just have to wear them as part of a who;e winter set up….. I use sealskins and they're fine aslong as I wear them with bib longs over the top, then MW80 boots then if it's really cold and wet, my endura overshoes……

You can't just wear sealskin socks and shorts as the water runs down into them like a drainpipe…..

Aslong as you take measures to cover the top then they work just fine…

Waders are fine for fishing but if the water gets over the top then they're useless 🙄

    UN52's only…. they stopped making the UN72 a couple of years ago…

I changed my BB to a UN52 18 months ago and it's still running as clean as a whistle on my Superlight.

I've got Tektro Short canti's with Sora Levers and set up properly they're spot on. Since changing from a shimano canti wire set up to a more old school straddle wire and yoke the improvement in performance has been ten fold…

I brought these to make them work properly…..

Rob – no problem with mud, water, dirt or grime off the front tyre. It was my main reason for buying one as I don't like riding in shades in the winter..
