These are nice, ordered 1, cut it in half, pulled it into a cross tubular to replace a punctured and full of sealant tube. Then glued it back together. Fiddly.

I have a 120w folding briefcase pair of panels coupled to a charging unit that is connected to the leisure battery in the campervan. The fridge is 12v powered when driving and 240 on hook up. The panels can put 10A into the battery on a clear sunny day, and pointing them at the sun makes a huge difference to charge. For plug and play, I sometimes run an inverter off the leisure battery and run the fridge off this, I know I’m wasting power through the inverters inefficiency. I’m not running off grid for weeks.

Raining again, proper cross conditions now. Will be some sketchy tarmac corners and comedy run ups

I think it was BenT that snapped his seatpost on a descent, then had to ride some way out of the saddle to get a bike change. He was going really well. Happened in front of me.

Try superstar components, they have round or oval. Have 2 on cross bikes, work well

    Often a discount available

If you have Mavic helium’s why not swap freehub from Shimano to campag?

Otherwise, what has been said is true, ambrosio is a 10speed only solution, 11 speed is the same spacing

Marchiso ? May work but rare.

Caley picture house, you said old and elegant. It’s a deco cinema saved by Wetherspoons. Hanging Bat a few doors up is good too. Brewdog too. Do the ghost walk and go to Harry Potter Cemetery.

I’ll get a 11-34 then and hope it works with my campag mid cage mech, 1×11, the 32 seems fine.  Merlin seem cheapest.

    thanks all

Thanks for the replies, it’s a cs r7000 11-32 that I have, arrived today, tried to fit tonight.  Everything I read suggested it should fit.

are you saying an 11-34 would fit but the 11-32 won’t ?

    thanks

https://www.procyclehire.com/  are good, just outside Port a Pollensa, walkable.  Make sure you book on line, you can’t just walk in.  I hired a Massi carbon for a few days a couple of weeks ago, decent value. great bike museum and coffee shop too.

It did rain hard.  There are other places in Port a Pollensa.  Formentor is a good ride, and you can park at LLuc if you are going to ride Sa Colobra and don’t have the legs to do it from Pollensa.

Take a spare tube and a decent mini pump. you are supplied both, but I punctured and I’m very glad it was at the end of the ride.

    Enjoy

I can fix them,  mostly cross tubs, but if you post them to me,  I’ll post them back for £15.

£10 if you pick up from Bucks

i’ll never be rich and it’s a small market.

My 10 speed campag ergos work fine with avid bb7s.

Cheapest way to sort a wheel is to swap the hub out to a shimano disk hub and use an ambrosio 12 to 28 shimano spline, campag spaced cassette unless it’s a thru axle or something new fangled

There was one team running campag at Valkenberg

It’s the clear blanks I’m after so the optician can draw on them to make me varifocal photochromics

The 53×19 should be on inside of nose piece but may have worn off.

Holding a ruler to my frames, you measure about 51-52 at its widest, if you have 53′ blanks, can I buy them from you.

Thanks for the revant suggestion but my eyes are a bit old and special.

Crosslink from Ebay, and try ASDA for lenses, make sure you speak to the proper optician, especially if you need varifocals or anything complex.

I got some of their own frames with photochromic varifocals , thin lenses for £80, very happy, wished I’d put them in some crosslinks.

They will glaze frames you take in for £40. I’m -7.0

It sounds unlikely, but I’m very happy.

I replaced all my halogen, MR16 bulbs with 5W MR16 LEDs from screwfix, using existing fittings, brighter whiter light much less power consumption. come in warm white or cool white

    £11.69 for 5

You should look at whether your existing fittings meet regs though.

I’ll try and have a look tonight. I got replacement bearings from MB as above.

I used a m8 bolt, some big washers, a ring spanner and a socket to press the bearing out and press it back in.

Tightened every thing up nicely on my carbon NRS.

Have you tried the usual tricks to remove an airlock. Does it produce steam ok.

My Cubika plus was a bit asthmatic, a descale sorted it out.I used the Gaggia descaler but others work ok.

Pint and meal in the Farmyard Inn. Lots of good walking from Youlgrave or even better walks if you drive to Edale etc. Drive to Buxton, Matlock, Bakewell etc. Only small shops in Youlgrave, so stock up on the way in.

Caves nearby. Lots to do, Enjoy
