Lidl’s polarised sports glasses….Come in variety of tints for £3.99
(Normally when the fishing offers are on! The cycle ones they sell are non polarised)

Who cares if I lose them or if they get broken when I fall off (Still not broken my original pair but getting a few scratches now)

Sauna season? that would be all the year round then
Got one in the house that we built.
Converted the back half of the garage into a wetroom.

great on a cold winters night and doesnt cost much to run
Our heater is 3kw so a bit like your grans 3 bar electric fire
20 mins to warm up and usually on for 1hr

Mrs B is from Finland, Im told the best sauna’s are NOT the hottest ones but the ones with the highest humidity. Ours is set to around 65 centigrade but no need to go hotter if you throw plenty water

    Agree with Toppers.
First time I had tried SS and the fitness is getting there. I love it
The build is not too difficult, I had a mate help/show me.
I would do myself now not that tricky one you see how

Sounds about right, I was in the same ballpark when I built my Swift.
Noticed you didnt have frame costs, presume you already have this

I went single speed initially, but have sourced alfine 8 bits for the next phase.
I would look to source good second hand parts, often these are at much reduced costs so it allows you to play/up the spec depending on what bargains you can find. Loads of bargains out there.

I got some 29er ones on the front. I like them but you get a different feel if they are run at too high a pressure. On 2.25s I’ve got about 20psi, running tubeless and they have been faultless

I married a Finn, great people and culture.
Not managed to bike yet but should be good given the terrain and landscape
SS would be a good choice

Get an old bike box from your lbs and some bubbly wrap
    Can’t be too hard

How about going with an alfine hub?
Would keep the chainline cleaner and allow easier conversion of you want to run SS.
No need for a chain guide and can make proper use of the EBB

I got Some of the Stans 29er flows on a Superstar SS Hub
Been very good so far, certainly inpressive for the money

They forgot the lockrings in the package but left a voicemail message and they turned up a couple of days later.

Cant fault them so far but its early days

I really get on with my singular swift, just to throwa spanner in the works.
It rides loveley and versatile when you want to change it about e.g. Ss or gears, rigid or sus forks
