Problem is I should have stopped at the basic regrease.but was on a roll and decided to strip the hydraulic shaft.when you dismantle it you hear air coming out which must assist in the post returning to fully extended.ican see a tiny pin hole in the bottom nut which may be where it goes in,but **** knows how you do it….!

sounds like something could be bent.is car still under waranty,if so take it to another dealer and explain the problem.they all love finding problems with another dealers car!!

if you bought them from on one they are probably oem.im having probs with some 32s i bought from them.mojo wont warranty them!!

After it cuts it will it crank but not fire up?..if so it could possibly be the camshaft sensor.quite common on that engine.

AA key assist will come to your house and do it.don’t know if it’s much cheaper than a dealer though.certainly less hassle.think you can get a quote on the AA website.

most decent garages now fit a timing belt kit .which includes belt,pump,idlers and tensioner.not good practice to retension a new belt onto old parts.surprised at a dealer not doing that!!

just back from kiroughtree.trails are fine patches of ice on fire roads but all the singletrack is totally clear. :wink:

last couple of days aa have recieved three times normal workload.patrols drive vans so are getting stuck in traffic ect same as everybody else and are therefore able to attend less jobs than normal.contractors also streched to limit as they all work for green flag and rac aswell!!..prioroty must be given to motorways,lone females ect..some people are just useless and are holding everyone up by calling in for things like washers frozen,snow on driveway,brakes failing!!(when abs works)…ive just finished a twelve hour shift and done four jobs normally would do eight to ten!! :(

i had mine done made a big difference.seemingly is also much better with new rp23 with boost valve!

well the frame arrived yesterday!!…in the worst packaging ive ever seen.postie was pissing himself!!..frame looks like its done more than a few gentle rides on woodsy singletrack!!.more like a season in whistler but it is in one piece with no dents.forks are ok but not mint!.but at least they have arrived….4weeks 2days later :|

update on the saga…i managed to get a hold of him last tuesday and he said “i posted this morning”.no sign by saturday i managed to get a hold of him again and he informed me he had defo posted them…on thusday!!….still no sign! :cry:

btw what is the point of the paypal gift thing!!you still have to pay a fee and have no protection.

i dont think nearly four weeks is being to quick to name and shame.if you read my op it is not exactly a name and shame just hoping i could prompt a response from my unanswered emails!
coming on to the forum is the only option you have if the seller wont respond.personally if i sell i keep in touch all the way untill buyer recieves.and as such expect others to do the same with me,especially if it is an expensive purchase.
