should be changed every 3 years.If you fill the new filter with fuel before fitting you will be ok.start car hold revs at about 2500rpm for about 30 secs.switch off,Restart,will take a bit to fire up then let idle for 30 secs again.Repeat another time.should be ok.

Bigjim..probably right.Seems to be the way it is going in the tweed valley,any new decent trails are being built by riders for riders.This seems to suit the fc at the moment.

what is the point of a taster trail??green route is a taster trail.any trail building over the last ten years within the seven stanes seems to be aimed at families/beginners.

no mention of any new trails in article.I would imagine any new freeride trails will be tame in comparison to the ones that are there at the moment.

Worth adding a k- seal to the coolant.if there are any small leaks it will seal it.good stuff even if it doesn’t fix it it won’t do your coolant system any harm unlike some adatives. Pick it up in most good auto stores possibly even halfords for about a tenner.

All you can do is keep flushing it.oil is a nightmare to get out of coolant system.radiator will also be contaminated and will take a while to clear .may need replaced.heater matrix also sounds contaminated if your getting a smell from heating…ps pro mechanic(there said so!!!)

If the temp gauge is working ok it is probably the level sensor that is faulty due to oil contamination.sensor should be in the coolant header.try disconnecting see if light stays on or goes off.if coolant level is ok sure it will be ok.

Connect volt meter to battery positive terminal then alternator output if you get a reading of about 2 volts that confirms you have a volts drop on positive circuit check all connections back.this can also be done from battery earth to engine and then body to check earths trace back as reqd.can also try running a jump lead from alternator pos to battery pos and recheck readings.be carefully not to short out on anything though.

Was there with kids today.very disappointed to be honest.kids had a ten minute play on bikes on track which they’enjoyed.don’t really understand why I had to pay a tenner to get in.what did I get for it.no manufacturers exhibiting hardly even any nice mountain bikes to drool over.no decent shops or deals!.killed an hour but that was about it.

yes..the nipple tool you get supplied stripped because the nipple was siezed.have tried all the nipples they all seem siezed!!

the one that came is pictured above in the middle.i tried slackening the oposing non drive side and its now broken!!!

what size nipples are on the replacement spokes.the ones pedalon sent me are 5.6mm.ones on wheel are 7mm.iwould take them off you if they are the right ones.
mine measure approx273mm non drive side/243 drive side

what model of crossmax do you have are they the newer black rims silver decals.i ordered 3 non driveside from pedalon but they are about 1cm short and also have a different sized nipple.pretty sure they have sent me what they have listed as th e correct part!
