Any old tat can end up being considered a future classic these days, people talk about old ford escorts and morris marinas as classics and they were really dull cars, it just takes a few people with a soft spot for them to start a club and all the sudden its a classic.
My choice; Skoda Yeti, got a real soft spot for them.

I’d like to be able to do bunnyhops on flats.
And don’t bother explaining to me this is not a super power because its so unobtainable to me it might as well be.

if you are planning on doing the dog and monkey watch out for compacted snow getting icy on some corners and the fire roads, you can go from grippy snow to slick ice to dry dirt within 100 metres!

    1.Lakes
    2.Wales(all of it,more all less)
    3.Scotland (boarders)
    4.My back yard, Cannock chase.

On the plus side for us bmw drivers in these conditions I can see the road ahead perfectly through the drivers side window.. and then the passenger window, then the rear window, so no need to clean the snow off the windscreen…result!

Nah she wouldn’t have done that, although as she walked off with money now in her woolly hat (she had taken it off by the way, it wasn’t like on her head with all that money in it over coming the laws of physics and all that ) she was laughing a lot..

I found a traffic warden and gave it to her. By the time I had done this (half an hour later) i had visions of being featured on crime watch.
    Fear rules my life.

First thought was keep it (greed is good) I could buy some handle bars with that.
Second thought was give it to charity (how could I keep it when i don’t need it and others are much worse off than me)
Third thought, some one will know I had it and even if i had given it to charity they’ll bang me up for havin it.

It was in the balance for a good half an hour

When you loose your dad no mater what the circumstances are its going to be a bumpy ride. I think in yours it will only add to the pain, find someone you trust to talk to about it,it’ll help.

Re-building an old reign frame earlier today after seeing one on the back of a car up at Cannock chase bought back memories of how good it was. Most of the bits found lying around shed (its a bitsa bike) All i need now is a gear cable and the job is a good one.
The older I get the more I enjoy going down to the shed and throwing something together out of odd bits and bobs to revive an old bike, okay they might look like wreaks but I get a real kick out of riding them, think it’s because its a guiltless pleasure(no money spent but something new to ride, sort of), wished i’d kept more old frames…

Its a good idea not seal it completely, kinda defeats the object i know but you can have problems with damp in it if you seal them up completely.

Carbon, some fires without back boilers require vents.

No you shouldn’t cover it at any time but it could be worth checking if the appliance really needs it, should be able to find out on the net.

Got to say Paul’s gives fantastic service, ordered a Anthem x4 on a Sunday it arrived on the Tuesday, couldn’t even get hold of one anywhere else. I know this doesn’t answer your question but i can only recommend them,

Flatback, that sounds like it has quite an impact on your life. wwaswas, sounds like you had the same issues as i did. Out of interest you did you manage the muscle wastage? I wasn't able to put weight on my left leg for 16 weeks because the bone didn't heal as quickly as hoped and eighteen months down the line one side of my bum is a lot smaller than the other! reading that last bit back I wonder if thats to much detail but i'm past caring…
    mark.
p.s I was 45 when i did mine, low bone density has since been diagnosed as the mine cause (was a minor accident) treatable, lucky for me.

Thanks for the reply wwaswas. Does it feel close to how it did before you broke it now your screws are out? you're the first person i've come across who was fairly young when you broke your hip so i'm interested in any problems you've encountered with flexability and movement if any,

Try the Wolseley arms just south of Rugeley on the A51, normally good food and service,
