The survivor was good – 1 person on each flank and someone with a decent gun in the centre to get the easy kills = a simple way to get lots of points and £20K!

Anyone help me find an aircraft / heli with firepower? I don’t even know how to get into the military base

Not sure at what level – but there is a large runway 2/3rd up on the map. For be there is a large prop plane and standing beside it is a heli with guns (both of which you can borrow).

I have a nice 1 bedroom apt in the nice area of town with a 6 car garage <ohh get me>. Best bit is the free beer that you can drink whenever you want – although the showering whilst wearing a bikini is bizarre!

Yes there are lots of threads – but most recommend G watch which is bulky as hell or the cheaper Casio/timex/sekonda and my wife will not buy a cheap watch!

On a plus note – I annoyed someone enough last night that a bounty was placed on my head. Drac was on the same map so I drove towards him, got out of my car and allowed him to kill me and gain $7k! Its a bizarre world!

+1000000000 single best bit of kit got for our little one. They grow out of everything else so quickly but the pram stays a constant. Light, easy to manoeuvre, one handed operation, 650b compatible (ok maybe not) – the Maclaren gets my vote.

Molgrips – no worries. Yes the portacabins are the place to be on the ‘boneyard’ and also the one by the scrap yard (name escapes me) especially if there are two of you. Its just he helicopters which are a pain! Good luck for the future games and hope to see you online!

Sorry I messed up in survivor!

I’m really underwhelmed by online, loads of waiting around, missions with very few people, did a deathmatch the other day with one other bloke, who just jumped in a car and drove off!

Driving around mowing folk down is quite funny, but there just don’t seem to be enough people for anything to really happen for me

Yes i thought this at first but now I have levelled up a bit I have a lot more missions to go for.

I prefer LTS missions or racing (although I am pants at the later) – but my favourite ones are survival – good points free guns and easy chance to level up. If you join PHUK I can invite you to a survival game and all you have to do is survive until the 3rd round (when guns get interesting!). Once you have played one game you can enter free mode with all the guns you collected during the mission :). Once you get the mini gun hunting prey (idiots online) is much fun as there isnt much they can do!

If you see me online and host a mission I can join in and use a sniper rifle if that helps. If I have already done a survivor mission maybe I can meet up and ‘drop’ a weapon by your feet??????

Ps I now have an apartment – a single lady in a one bedroom apartment in a nice area of town with a 6 car garage! What is a girl to do?

I think survivor is great fun – lots of points and a good way to collect guns.

Sandy shores is a blast, as Drac found out yesterday if you make a stand within the square, one person on the dumpster and the others providing flanking support its quite an effective strategy.

If there is a group of you and the final ‘victim’ is left – gather up all the weapons and ammo. Once the last guy dies more weapons and new health/vest/weapons are available.

It’s the only girls we get to play with.

Had to get in there before the haters.

Drac and I are the Drama Queens of GTA survivor. Anyone messes with our makeup or forces us to duck our heads out of trouble (and messing our hair) is definitely going to get into trouble!

Good to see that we completed the railway survivor though!

Two people off my xmas card list…. gave it a try during lunch and lost all my new guns :(

Did try a survivor round by myself and got to round 4 (of ten) and picked up some nice guns – might be an idea to give a survivor round a try and the beginning of the session and then kill people with the newly acquired guns :)

Yup played a few games with Marko now. Invited others to do missions but they’ve not joined in yet.

– its fun – just shoot like crazy but it helps if you work together. Not only do you get lots of points I now am the proud owner of a heavy duty sniper rifle, lots of grenades, a mini gun and an assault rifle – all FOC :).

Defo easier with a mic though! Could be a good place for PHUK to shoot AI characters and generally have a laugh

Well had a right good laugh again with Mark and an long time gaming friend doing some missions, team missions are superb fun trying to deliver and item or escort someone whilst being hunted down. We even got a bike race around the airport in too superb stuff

Oh and a mic helps.

It was great fun – more laughing than talking! I think the mic does help especially if we can get enough people to compete in LTS…!!

Drac – the chasing thing was weird yesterday – I was having a vendetta against someone yesterday and thought you were him/her…. on a bike I didnt have much of a chance! I was tempted to put a cap in your head…. but figure we need to start a PHUK mission and look after each other!

Anyone else had a problem installing the updates on PS3?

had to resort to this:
Go to the PS3 menu
Go to Game Data Utility
Delete the GTA 5 Update file (version 1.01 or 1.02; ~39mb)
Restart the game and reinstall the update/patches

Online seems to be slowly creeping into life. That said it’s now altered my character so I’ve had to delete him and start again.

I cant seem to get online to play… I am stuck playing the most two boring missions ever…. nuclear waste and parts of a submarine……. /yawn

I still have a few mini missions (minute men, find the stash etc) – I have been given a new mission as well which involves finding a hijacking a truck.

I have lots of money now so I will become a slum landlord now!

And yup ran the bikers woman over, most of the time I kill everyone with all players

Upon completing the game you get a Psych evaluation from the shrink – it evaluates how you played the game…. yours could be interesting you murdering bas***d! ;)

Managed to finish the game last night – I took option ‘C’. Has anyone taken the other options as I would be curious to find out what goes on. The credits go on for ever – never knew it too so many people to make a game!

On a positive note the first cut scene when you start playing again is fantastic!

you can buy parachutes in ammunation once you have completed the cargo plane mission.

I have to say I really don’t like Trevor. He may grow on me yet, but I just feel dirty playing as him in a way that I don’t with the others.

At the beginning I didnt like Trevor either. However, now he is the best character. When you click on him after doing a little mission with one of the other characters Trevor is either kidnapping someone, running from the cops or shagging! What a life!

this game is weird. One moment a mexican chap is being introduced to a rather large torch, then a very sick interrogation scene followed by being drugged by my own son and being abducted by aliens!

However, I still think its great!

I was stuck doing the 2nd heist for 3 hours as I didnt realise I had to take Michael to the B…. I had taken the other two to the B and exhausted all telephone conversations….

On the plus side i did get to fine the cable car, go hunting with cletus and drink some whiskey at home!

The sense of humour and music is utterly fantastic. i could listen to the radio all day!

I am glad there isnt a swear jar in my house every time I use Trevor!

About to start my 2nd heist – this should be interesting :)

I’m doing missions and messy around, took the drugs and killed the aliens first time.

Drac walk away from the game……. you may be spending too much playing shooter games ;)
