Yep. Although with those rims and Nobby Nics, you don’t need the tubes

I thought you still needed the Stans tape to go tubeless..

The choice of tyre is dependant on many factors, how deep is the shag pile, what about the wool/nylon mix. How much riding will be done on Axminster, fake wood, vinyl or shag pile. Until this has been disclosed you can not expect to get a valid answer. 😀

I’d wash it off quick – happened to a mate once, he ended up with a terrible case of thrush.

I bet his sack puffed up and went all red.

Funny things these Reverbs. You either need to blow air into them or bleed it out. 😆

    +1 for VLC.

Another factor is are you playing the video from the card in the camera or have you loaded the film to your laptop. The speed/bandwidth of the USB could be adding a further issue.

Is the black one the same design? If so from the reviews I spotted this.

“Bought these in a hurry and can now regret the purchase at my leisure. The main problem is the long wire supports that clip into a plastic bracket on each mudguard. This method of retention is rubbish and the wire supports pop out of the plastic bracket easily. My advice DON’T BUY”

Thanks. I gave up on Mayhem as the damage done was not worth it IMHO so Puffer will no longer be on my to do list.

Traumatised more like I live about 10 miles from Eastnor and whenever I’m up there you can still see the wreckage from last year. I wonder if the estate had any part to play in them moving it.

    I would not be surprised.

This sounds as bad as Mayhem when that has been wet and muddy.

Chemist should be able to sell you some. I always used to get mine from a large Boots in town. Lasted for years.

No duty from EU as it has already been paid as part of the sale price.

Rock and roll cable magic when you fit new cables, decent ferules to keep the rubbish out. Beware of the real cheap inners as these can be more prone to rusting/jamming than better quality inners. If you can then go for full length outers and this will reduce the water ingress points. I get years out of my gear cables, the front Gore ride on has been on for 5 years.

You could get new Lyriks from Bike discount for about £480.

I have the Thule copy by Halfords of the 3 bike version. Very pleased with it. It has had 3 bikes (2 Hecklers and a Reign) to Morzine and back with no worries. Doing so saved a tank of fuel on the previous trip with them on the roof rack.
Edit: I would add that I have driven a few miles down the road with the bolt to clamp on to the ball just hand tight and the rack had not moved. I only stopped to check it as I could not remember having put the spanner on it. Surprisingly secure 😳

Based on what I know with cargo trailers this will be an issue. You will need a longer hitch/arm to get this to work.

DHL is the weak link in my experience with Bike24. They shipped it fine but then DHL screwed it up. The DHL tracking code from Bike24 is only good when in Germany. When it comes to UK it gets another new number. I found this as it was texted to me by DHL. They said that thy would be delivering that day. I then checked the tracker site just after midday and it said refused delivery or similar. No one had been to my door as I was in all day. Call to Customer support was a complete waste of time. No Saturday delivery was offered even when I asked for it. Seems the driver was to busy to get to me. I then got the goods a week later as not about to accept delivery.

You can check the voltage across the battery terminals. No idea where the alternator will be in your wagon, Murphy’s law say it will be a right pain to get at.

With the engine running you should be seeing a voltage of about 13.6 volts across the battery. AFAIK there are no fuses in the circuit between the alternator and the battery. I do not have a Ducato by the way so I could be wrong but I have never seen any on previous cars. Have you checked the connections on the alternator that they are secure. I assume that the fan belt is still intact and tensioned correctly. Good luck with this but I can’t think of any other quick fixes.

    Googled this: http://www.startermotor-alternator-store.co.uk/fiat-ducato-alternator-823-c.asp

You need to check the current exposed seat post height from the seat post collar and then compare that to the usable length ( min insertion to rail height) on the Reverb.

FC guy with us was less impressed as he has to pickbup the pieces, both in his FC role and as a member of the local mountain rescue.

Yeah I know that feeling. You cant change some attitudes which is a shame. Everything is fine until you hit something hard. A bit like jumping out of a plane without a parachute, everything is fine until you reach terra firma.

Each to there own I rode for years without a lid. They only have themselves to blame if they come off and have a head injury.

Yes it is their choice. The trouble is they are making a choice for a lot of other people as well. The person that finds them out cold at the side of the trail. The Ambulance crew that is called out to pick them up. The A&E staff and the friends and loved ones that will be caring for them. But yes they choose to make the choice not to wear one.

I have used standard patches and vulcanising solution for years to fix tubeless tyres. More that just a thorn hole typically a small gash.. Works a treat IME.

Just do not bother with the Halfords leeches. If they do work they seem to have a very short lifespan on an inner tube

Hey sorry to hear of your woes. I did similar and bought from Bike Discount but all has been well so far, 4 months or so.

+1 what Sbob said, go direct to KS.

Edit: check what the warranty & returns terms are. I seem to recall that they are better than what you would get in the UK.

Once again, got home from work and the f**king thing is flat – last try tomorrow, then it all goes in the bin and back to tubes.

Just a thought, are you sure it is not leaking round the valve stem? Get some soapy water up round there and check.
