Mostly dry a few sections in the woods are a bit boggy, the surface is gritty and stony, the ridgeway sections are chalky, if you like riding fast flowing singletrack you will love this event

I was there on Wednesday dry and dusty and bloody hot, I would do the climb then just do the black run twice then follow diversion windy point and the energy section not worth the climb back up, all other sections are closed,
the skyline descent is great fun

I thought it was a great event again; I had no issues with the course marking you have to look ahead not down, as for the 3 downhill sections they were pretty tame and had chicken runs around all the drops, riding blind adds to the fun, I have also rode Steve Parr enduro’s which are 2 day events you get to practise on the Saturday Then do a seeding run that sorts the running order out of each category for the Sunday, The stages are longer and a lot more technical, Both events are great and they will get bigger and better next year. Much more fun than riding around a field for 12 hours?

Yes I agree signage was poor , great single track not sure about the hill climb, I will give it another go next year just to see the attractive blonde lady at the start of stage one?
