Sadly, I don’t think so – that was just one of the Substance gravel frames (I actually own one!). I think the Venon frame was actually a Wiggle mould, rather than generic.

There are a handful of Ragley frames back in stock on Chiggle, mostly Mediums.

Big Al in aqua for £157.69 (SALE10 code), last one.

Would have snapped it up myself, but already picked up a Scout 290 frame for £200 last week…

Thanks for the feedback on the NS Lite wheels! Shame there’s no Microspline freehub available for them (at least as far as I can see).

    No Microspline freehub though?

    1515g wheelset for £188 – anyone got a pair?

I bought the single speed version for the princely sum of £130. Trying hard to resist upgrading anything as that would defeat the purpose of the exercise, a cheap local run-around that won’t be too annoying if it gets stolen.

I ordered a pair of the Rockit Plus from Tredz for £43 which actually turned up.

Tried to order the Northwave Mistral road shoes from Edinburgh but also cancelled…

So I wanted a gear hanger for my £130 Vitus singlespeed, just in case.

I need that hanger too, got a URL?

Does the non drive side one ever break? Or would I just be buying a silver one to cosmetically match GFJ’s drive side hanger?

Got mine, looks like a work of art!

If the newer Escarpe frameset is too pricey, the 2020 model is back in stock, Large only at £399:

Surely the Fox Factory shock and carbon frame are worth £200 though?

Now to decide if I really need to “upgrade” from my 130/125mm travel Marin Rift Zone…

I’ve also been watching these, would prefer the Nexus 3-speed but they only have small left. How tall are you?

The carbon Vitus escarpe frames are now 600.

This or a Reactor for £900?

I successful ordered one, which was then successfully cancelled by Wiggle about 20 minutes later…

I’ve ordered a green Marley 29er frame (fingers crossed a spare hanger turns up somewhere).

Now resisting the urge to colour match the saddle, stem, bars and grips! (suspect it would either look completely epic or completely naff, can’t decide which).

Also wondering if this Lyric fork would be a better option than the Bomber Z2 that I already have?

I like mine, £600 is cheaper than ordering direct from Carbonda.

This is the Planet X version:

    https://www.planetx.co.uk/collections/on-one-free-ranger

They no longer seem to sell the frameset though.

I bought one of these with GRX for £1500 back in 2020. It’s a rebranded Carbonda CFR696 frameset, as also sold by Planet X, Dolan.

Trying to convince myself that I do not need a Ragley Marley, but it’s literally cheaper than a new drivetrain that I would otherwise need to buy after winter

Me too! The Scout 290 is back in stock, but not sure it’s worth £130 more?

    The £299 150mm Lyriks are also back…

Thanks, I’ve joined the FB group.

Weirdly, I’m also looking at replacing a 2021 Sentier 27.5 with a bargain Ragley, but thinking I’ll jump up to a 29-er to match my full-sus bike. Only the green Marley 29 frame is left in stock atm in my size though.

I was also considering a Scout (helpfully it uses a UDH hanger), but only the 275 frames are left.

Hi. I was about to pull the trigger on a Marley 29 frame, but just noticed that the hangers are out of stock.

    https://www.wiggle.com/p/ragley-hanger-for-2019-current-mtb

Is there a third-party source with stock? I don’t really want to get stuck with an un-usable frame if the worse happens…

So I’ve just finished resurrecting my much-neglected, 10-year old Giant Anthem X4 full-sus, and now want to convert it to tubeless after trying and loving it on my gravel bike.

It’s still got the original set of 26″ wheels with Mavic XM117 rims (not tubeless) and Panaracer Fire-XC Pro 2.1″ tyres (not tubeless either).

The first cost-concious idea that I’ve already tried is splurging £9 on some Joe’s No Flat rim strips and trying to convert the current wheels/tyres, sadly with no success.

I’m now thinking the next logical idea from a financial pov would be to try some tubeless ready/UST tyres on the original wheelset with the rim strips.

If that doesn’t work, I’d have to go the whole hog and find some 26″ tubeless wheels (at which point I might not bother at all and go back to tubes).

The trouble is, finding an inexpensive pair of 26″ tubeless tyres and/or a set of tubeless wheels is proving to be somewhat frustrating, as the world has moved on.

Does anyone have a pair of 26″ tubeless ready/UST tyres for sale, or even a whole wheelset? Or can recommend an online deal that won’t end up costing more than the whole bike’s worth?!

    Thanks for the replies everyone!

I’m also considering a new Whyte 901 or second-hand 905/909 or the new Calibre Line 29 (only £800).

Any other similar models that I should take a look at?

Looking for some advice on sizing…

A medium 2020 Arkose with the stock 80mm stem and no spacers has a stack of 607 and reach of 464.

A small Arkose with a 100mm stem and 10mm of spacers has a stack of 603 and reach of 469.

My current road bike has a stack of 594 and reach of 469.

And yes, before anyone asks, I have already test-ridden both setups at my local Evans! Although only on the road.

The medium seemed more “flickable”, the small more stable.

Having not owned a gravel bike before, which setup would be more suitable for a 50/50 mix of road and gravel/bridleways/light trails?

I’m 5ft 10 with 31-inch inside leg, which the size charts say is definitely a medium, but the stack and reach really aren’t all that different in the above setups…
