    Best of luck to you.
Can’t believe there have been so many open and honest replies from people with similar experiences.
It’s a bit worrying that nobody has suggested anything to do with shoes or shagging her sister/mum/gran, this place is going to the dogs…

I loosened it before we went out to slow you down a bit. It was either that or let Steve loose on you with the pink mallet!
    Good photos though.

Bonty jones acx for mud, kenda small block 8 for dry and they are surprisingly grippy in 29er flavour and work for most conditions, kenda karma also not too bad for rocky places.

Mine doesn’t change, it’s 140g per mile so stays at £120 per year until they decide to change the rules again…

I live with a midget as well, got her a 13″ WSD specialized hardrock and it fits perfectly.

It’s all quite ironic really, if his mum had a better driver than the alcoholic french guy he might have had a ‘raghead’ for a stepdad.

Put it in a skip and buy another, it’ll be much cheaper than a trip to the emergency dentists

There’s a few good real ale pubs in Derby for the more bearded types.
The Brunswick near the station is good, work your way round the corner to the Alexandra and then on into town, bit far away from the venue though so stick to Flowerpot, Blessington and probably the seven stars.

Go, I’m not a biker but went to the NEC one recently and had a cracking day, some lovely motorbikes and plenty of top totty to look at.

Was the collapse of the knee due to slipping at work or is it a pre-existing medical condition?

+ve air chamber is basically the main spring (which holds you + weight of bike up)
-ve air chamber helps the small bump movement by acting against the +ve air spring pressure to make the forks more reactive (compress easier), it holds less air (by volume) than the +ve chamber so only helps for the first part of the travel i.e. over small bumps

Both chambers should have roughly the same pressure in them for a lively, smooth fork, for a stiffer fork put more in the +ve than -ve.

Note that more pressure in the forks will require more rebound damping as they will move out faster, teh rebound damping is designed to slow the extension of the forks after compression.

Don’t jetwash it if you intend to keep the car for longer than 1 month as the high pressure water will play havoc with the electrics.
Best bet is to let it run for a while with the bonnet up, this will burn the oil off the exhaust manifold, spray the rest with wd40 and wipe it off with a rag, this will get rid of most of it.

Can’t fault my ti456, I reckon I can go faster downhill on it than I could on my old enduro. Or does it just feel faster? Either way it’s a lot more fun.

Bring it into the warm, take the bateries out and leave it on the side with the endcap off, if there is any water in there it will dry out.

Use it as an opportunity to improve any weak areas of processes/procedures that you have tried to act on before and not got management backing for, if it is on the audit they will more than likely be very supportive of any improvements.
Remember that any good auditor will have no axe to grind and should be impartial.

Be very careful selling/buying these, looks like they may be getting a bit hot on this:
    banged up

There’s more than likely more to it than the paper has put in there but it’s not something I would like to happen to me.

I like mine but they are not without issues, mine has been back with a broken wiring fault, mates older edison is now dead with ballast resistor failure, having said that they get used 3 times a week.
Customer service from zyro is good but it’s a shame I needed to use it.

Think mine was a 2005 one (blue) there should be a flat on the stud nera to the frame boss, get a BFO spanner on it and give them a spin (normal thread direction), they will be loctited in so will take a bit of moving.

Pretty sure I unscrewed mine and it just left the bosses on the frame, when you are riding it you can’t even see them.

Did it a couple of years ago as a 3 dayer. Stockport is a nightmare, as with all sustrans routes the signage goes to pot in the built up urban areas. Stayed the first night (before I got going) at a campsite in Ainsdale, a surprisingly nice area, first night proper I stayed at a mates house in Glossop, second night spent in yorkshire in a pub garden which I can’t remember the name of.
It’s a pretty decent route but once you get past Doncaster it gets pretty dull as it is all flat and if there’s a headwind it is a bit soul desroying/character building. Fit slime tubes and puncture resistant tyres as you will need them, the residents of Kingston on Hell and Merseyside seem to use the cycle paths as the glass recycling facility. I used my kona sutra fitted with cross tyres for the trip, the surfaces range from tarmac to bridleway/dirt track/decommisioned railways.
The sustrans route maps are ok up to a point, they change orientation to best fit on the paper and if you are slightly off-route then you will most likely be off the map.
Having said all that I would probably do it again.

Daffy, can’t really see it being the frame at fault there, sounds more like something wrong with the hubs, the inside edges of the dropouts should be flat and parallel and I can’t see lynskey letting one out any other way. Is the cassette on properly? Have you tried the wheels in a different frame?

Did it in town on my first outing on SPD’s, fell over onto the pavement at traffic lights right next to an old dear who offered to help me get up, not too funny at the time but can laugh about it now.
Get him to persevere with them though as they are brilliant and I won’t ride without them now.

Love my ti456 but not sure it would be too good for racing on as you’d want to take all of the fun lines rather than the fast ones. That’s what I’ve got the scandal 29er for and it’s also prety good at an all day sort of bike, went to Bets-y-Coed a few weeks back with it and it was loads better tahn i though it would be.

I quite like this one, taken by my mate on a Berwick to Derby 3 dayer, that’s me and blackhound in the distance and we had just ridden up through that mist.
