Never been convinced with them, waterproof and breathable it says on the label but I had to check they weren't on inside out!

Have had the steel and now have the ti, there isn't a great deal of difference between the 2 but the ti is smoother to ride and more forgiving, lighter and won't rust after 5 minutes in the British summer. Not really convinced it is 10 times better then the steel (original price) but for £799 it is a bargain, especially when you look at prices of other equally reputable manaufaturers bikes.

Ticknall area is good, there's a ride out from the John Thomson pub at ingleby every monday night if you wnat to see the local trails.
I'm in Burton and ride over that way a couple of times a week, normally Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturday afternoons.

Very good for being seen, have one on the back of my helmet, they fit really well on the back of xens, and another on the peak, that is pretty good for seeing computers/gear shifters etc but not for seeing where you are going.

I wouldn't make a special trip to go there, nothing there but loads of tourists having a photo taken next to a ridiculously long sign…

Looks good for the money. Just be a bit careful where the bag is rubbing on the headset, it will wear the ano off it, if that sort of thing bothers you…

Stand up to them, record all abuse and get it stopped. This person has already driven one person out, they are now working on you and there is nothing ot say that they won't do it to the next person. Inform your agency about what is happening and hopefully they will refuse to place anyone with this company until the person responsible is sorted out.

Here's one I had done last week, £30 all in and another £4 for the stickers, really pleased with it.
Pros: hard wearing and loads of colours to choose from
Cons: Stickers rather than lacquered on graphics

I'm with rich on this and not a postie. It is a public service and should be ran as one, public services can be profitable but that should not be to the detriment of everything else

One i used on a twatdriver: did you pass your driving test or just suck the examiner off? Works pretty well for either sex.

I've got a voodoo carbon fork on my suttra, same as this one on the frame here:
    http://www.cheapbikeparts360.com/products/voodoo-wazoo-one-cross-framedisc-fork/
Got is from sideways for £99 and it is a pretty good piece of kit for the money and a lot less harsh than the p2 it replaced.

Just swapped the lowers on my 29er rebas for a 20mm maxle light, there is a world of difference between the 2 types in terms of stiffness, especially when hitting rocks etc on one side of the wheel only. Wouldn't want to ride QR now.

The new lowers arrived today and they fit but there are a couple of points to note.
    1. 20mm bolt through has same overall top to axle length but the point where they bolt to the spring & damper rods is about 20mm shorter, have had to put travel reducer spacer on to limit it to 100mm travel and the damper cartridge is slightly too long so it bottoms out with about 5mm still to go.
    2. 20mm lowers are post mount so need a new adaptor to run 203mm rotor, fitted spare 160mm rotor for now.

They are noticably stiffer than the QR lowers, whether this is due to new bushes or not I don't know but they are loads better. It's a conversion well worth doing if you can pick the lowers up for £60 posted.

That could probably be welded but personally I would put it in the recycling bin as I don't think I would trust it.

It depends how bad it is, a photo would be useful.
Have you spoken to cotic about it? they may do something under warranty, depending on how it was done/how old it is.

I'll swap it with you for a knackered superstar headset and a presta dust cap.

Can't see a problem with getting it resprayed, it has already been painted once from new after all, it's only like painting fibreglass/plastic and that's not a problem on cars, it would need to be prepared by hand and sprayed though as it wouldn't take to being sandblasted and powdercoated.

The standard ones are made of dairylea and do not like casettes without carriers. Fit a steel freehub body on it and then you can run any casette without it self destructing.

Depends on where you are in the country, I'm in Burton on Trent and currently have on in for sandblast and powdercoat for £30. they have done on efor me before and make a pretty good job, only problem is they work on Derbyshire time so it can take a while, 2 weeks so far and not heard anything yet.
