Nice, bet that was quite a bit of fun with 150bhp and looking like a total shed

I have a surly SS hub for sale here which uses screw on freewheel, have had a change of plans so no longer needed. Currently using an xt hub with spacers but will be swapping to a hope SS/trials hub build as the chainline is more adjustable on them, the surly one uses outer chainring position and I want to swap between an alfine and SS set up, the alfine uses the middle chainring position.

The stuff for power stations is pulverised to make it burn faster, coal is coal, just the size of the lumps differs. If it is too big break it with a hammer.

Looks great, I think we must be the only part of the country to have missed out on snow this time around.

Bit of a pisser at any time of year. At least you will be back on it in spring though so will miss the worst of the weather.
While they are at it you could get them to put an extra vert in and join the african tribe…
    Good luck

I did one earlier this year, exactly the same by the sound of it and they swapped it out under warranty. Get in touch with hope, they are very good for customer service.

Unless it's 203mm rotors you are using be careful, shimano are 160 against the avids 165 and 180 vs 185 so they will leave a bit of the pad on the outside edge not covered by the rotor and will eventually leave a ridge as they wear and the pads will touch together leaving not a lot of braking.

To stop them squeeling, pull the pads out and put a bit of copper slip on the back (non friction material side) and put them back in.

I'd take a front one if they did, you can't buy the parts for the price they 26" ones sell for. Back one would have to be alfine hubbed though for me.

    you need one of these:

Kona sutra with 26-36-46 sensible gearing, bb7 discs, schwalbe marathon 32mm tyres, heavy but bombproof bike.

Seems a bit wierd this, can't help but think there is more to it than meets the eye. Would you just report it to the police and let them come and fetch it or take it down to the local cop shop without making an appointment with the chief super? I know which I'd do.

Don't bother with the police, just smash his head in with the d lock

Mine is set up with air 454 pikes, hope hoops with DT5.1, xt drive train (26/36/bash). xt brakes, thomson stem & post, Easton monkeylight bars. Fairly light for a bike that will take a real beating. Pikes have uturn but hardly ever use it.

They have a big training and conference centre just outside cov so will be cheaper to hold it there than rent space in reading
