I had family cover with my wifes Halifax account which covered me for 3 days in a private hospital and surgery on my knee in Tenerife last year. Dread to think what it would have cost without. Deffo worth getting insurance i think

I went with Lavatrax in Tenerife. Really good and very professional. I went on their Las Lajas ride which starts at the top of Mt Tiede and winds down the mountain. Brilliant it was. The guide (Mike) was a really nice guy too

Not too sure if i want to swap just interested in peoples opinions. My mate had just put some Bonty Jones ACX on to replace his mountain kings and they were the same too! Just wondering if its the trails we ride rather than blaming the tyres.
mi©k – What are the trailrakers like anyway? OK?

It will manage just about anything you throw at it.
I got mine from All Terrain in Shipley and got £200 off for cash plus they swapped the tyres and pedals too!

they are shimanos so should have been bolted in.
TandemJeremy – Just hope my LBS dont try and con me. last time i only took bike in for a £10 rear mech service. £45 and new pads all round later – without consulting me either. they said pads were really worn down. they showed me the old pads and they were worn but they should have asked 1st!!

Yeam my lbs fitted the pads. only been out a few times since. Just rung them now. i can take it back in for new pads fitting. no charge. very dangerous i agree.

Plenty of good trails from either Halifax or Sowerby bridge. I live in Elland which is 10mins away fron Hfx. Hebden bridge too.
