My missus took me last year for my b/day on 23rd. Really great day but very busy. Try and get at the end near the arc de triumph as it is quits a big corner. Plenty of hotel rooms on the outskirs and the Metro is a doddle to get around on. Go and see a bit of history when Mr Wiggins wins this year eh?

From an interview with Fausto Copi in the 1940’s when asked if he had ever used drugs?
    “When they are necessary”
    “And when is that?”
    “Almost always”

Lots to do for kids. El Duque (Costa adeje) is a lovely coast/beach and only about 3/4km from las americas. You could think your in another country its really lovely, lots of nice shopping, bars & restaurants. Take a trip up the mountain, great adventure for the kids, get the bus from the station in las americas, takes you right up to the cable car and only a few euros. There is a tourist bus/train thing that is good fun and goes all along the coast (through Adeje actually)
Lavatrax are ace too, say hi to Daz and Mike

Think i will go with the Minions
Ampthill – i just dont feel very confident with them downhill, they slip quite a bit under braking and going to inners in 2 weeks so want to be able to concentrate on riding rather than my tyres.
    Anyone have Kenda nevegals?

I was commenting on the OP’s use of the word now.
What worries me is if they are still using the names today as Ho Hum said
And no need to be sorry for my “situation”. My son is healthy, happy and emotionally fine.
Seems to me some of you are still naive kids

Thankyou so much for starting this thread.

Its ignorant pr_cks like you that help my 10yr old son, who has cerebal palsy & spastic diplegia (hence the lovely name “spaz”) to look forward to living an insult free life.

Please think before using those terms again as it only takes kids to hear a comment once and think it is ok to use it everyday.

Brings a whole new meaning to inclusion & exclusion eh?

I did it last year and it was horrible. Soaked through after 10mins. Would be nice to do it in the dry though and actually see where you are rather than sheet rain for 8 hours!

    Hi
Tenerife is great for biking (Mount Tiede downhill!!) and north of the island for surfing. If you stay in the south, couple of kilometers up the coast from playa de las americas is Costa Adeje which is very quiet, great beaches and lots of locals. I had 2 weeks last year and loved it.
Also Lavatrax are based in Tenerife and are a great MTB guide company run by an English guy (Daz)
It will be very cheap at this time of year too!

I saw them up at Glasgow green few years back as one of the warm up acts for the Chilli peppers/Foo fighters.
    They were suprisingly awsome!
I remember he did a solo version of George Michaels Careless whisper. Brilliant, no music just him singing.
Foo fighters stole the show though!!

That is the route. It actually starts round the corner from the church, which is in Sowerby. You sign in at the church then follow signs for the start. You can park in the school just down the road.

    My bad
dial in – as in dial in your (insert mtb related item) – TV's and amplifiers have dials, not bikes.
session – cant we say "practice" instead?
kick in – as in "have the pain killers kicked in?"

When i lived in Aussie (long time ago) worked in a hotel and cooked for Lee Marvin & them 2 scottish brothers (500 miles) who were on tour.
Whoopie goldberg was opening the "Oz Rock" cafe in kings cross and saw her walking down the street flanked by 2 huge "security" guys. said "Aright Whoopee" in my broad west yorks accent. got very funny look
