Speak with the tax office. I rent a property and the tax office just adjusted my tax code, it saves self assessment. Once you self assess once you will always have to do it.

In terms of CGT if you are married you can use both allowances to ease your pain, but it does have to be paid UNLESS you flip. 6 month before you you want to sell your second home, move tenants out, tell council tax folks you now live there and your partner now lives in the other home. You will both pay 75% council tax on each house but after 6 months the property will no longer be your investment propery but your main residence then no tax to pay at all when you sell-happy days

PS this is dependent on this tax loophole nor being closed

I found out at the age of 38 that I have a sister, its big news.

Steve if ever you want to chat to someone about this let me know, my email is in my profile. I have now met my sister who is three years older and has three kids. These kids have a kid each and thus in one conversation I found out I am not only an uncle three times over but a great uncle.

Its a lot to take in but in this case all positive

Couple weekends ago friends suggested we stay at a campsite near Bakewell, Derbyshire. It was £2 a night each so I didnt expect much. There was nothing there, a few other campers but no obvious facilities.

Upon asking about the toilet etc I was led to a stone outhouse, in it was a toilet with a shower head poking out above the cistern. The outhouse was so small you could shower and take a dump at the same time. No toilet paper and mould all up the walls.

I am glad we were only there two nights, socially it was fine as it was just our group so the kids ran round etc and we didnt worry about the nose, but no even a sink to wash any plates etc, cant belive the place gets any trade but it does

Take some lube, ths will eliminate the possibility of being dry bummed the second you get there.

I was walking my dogs across the wyre forest a few weeks back and stumbled into fellow dog walker who was laying branches across the trails (button oak side). I have spend most of some walks removing said branches in the past.

I stopped and asked politely what was he up to, he had a rant about bikers ruining the paths and that he wouldn't care if injury would occur whilst crashing into said logs etc at which point I had to mention that I ride these trails. Slight pause from him followed by a polite but firm session of finger pointing and reminding him what a low life he was etc and we went on our merry way.

Hopefully he got the message. But in a word TIT

MacPack Vamoose (i think thats how its spelt). We used ours from 5 mths to 2.5 years. Really good storage space but also very comfortable.

Highly recommend, my mates got mine with a view to possibly buying it off me, I will find out if he still wants it, if not I will send you a mail

There are two stags in the Wyre forest that are albino, I have seen one of them twice or have I seen them both, not sure

I can feel your pain, but don't sell, just get out and have a few gentle rides. I have had three lower discs out due to degeneration in one and the other two being herniated(or bulging) and although very painful at times I kept up a bit of peddling to help my sanity.

Even minor slow riding will help, sitting on a saddle should also take pressure off your nerves, hence bambach saddle seats in the office now being used by many.

You should really try it, I bet its worth the pain to feel the freedom

Aberdeen to Bude in an emergency situation company paid, I have no idea how much but it did include a hotel for the driver.

Enjoy finding yourself, if running away works for you then good. Am near the wyre forest if you needed to trade a bit of gardening for a bed or food.

One thing to seriously to consider and keeping the back of your mind. While you are off finding yourself, those you leave behind will move on with their lives, you may find it very difficult coming back to a place that should be familiar but actually you are more of a stranger than you were on your travels.

Picked mine up on Saturday, very happy man with my choice. I managed to get the performance pack and rear maxle thrown in free. As for weight I have no idea, it weighs a bit less than I expected. Not very helpful I know but for what you get it's not too heavy.

I am however now officially overbiked and loving it

"It's a poor day when I can't have an unqualified rant on an internet forum"

Simple, dont rant if you dont expect a response.

I agree they are mental, but with that lots of fun.

Cougar i note you "Buried the brakes and stopped the bike dead" whilst you were riding at walking pace, that must have been extreme at that pace. Are you ok?

Why cant all just live and let live, you knew there is a spaniel ahead, you adjusted your speed and you got past unkilled by the "the four-legged sh1tting machine" No major issues for anyone get over it and ride where there are less folks with dogs around.

The mug house is on the river front, nice selection of ales and good grub. Advise booking. Failing that there is a greasy spoon cafe on the front also.

I ended up going for White with neon orange rims, I have also asked the swing arm decals are not put on as they look shite. Bike should arrive any day which is a shame as a twisted ankle may keep my first couple rides down to short distances.

along the same theme of what Finbar said "I'm sorry, i don't speak poor" is "I am sorry I dont speak welfare" then ride away fairly fast!!

I ordered mine on Saturday. I have asked for no rear decals at all as they are shocking. This apparently wont be a problem.

Black frame, orange rims and decals sounds rather nice. Have searched on here to no avail to find pics of it, will have to sleep on it before a final decision is made.

The solution is simple, move house. If you don't you will have to put up with you new found friend.

Harsh outcome given all he was doing was riding without lights. Countzero you ever nipped out without lights?

You must meet him, don't let the opportunity pass. It may not resolve your issues with him, but it will get the ball rolling.

I basically found out last year I have a sister, I am 37 and never seen my natural parents, made contact with my sister couple weeks ago to find out she has 12 months ish to live. Live is too short to mess around, go for it.
