The group I ride with are going to adhere to this, not only for the sake of the deer but also to work with the FC. Doing this may go along way towards a better relationship between riders and the forest.

The forest on Wednesdays can be a busy place at night so there must be some distrubance for the deer.

Wear proper shoes, mine came on after wearing summer sandal flip flop things. Once I replaced these with real shoes all was ok, also less walking round in bare feet

I went down to watch, course looked awful in parts but seemed to be drying up. The mud was proper claggy by the time I left.

The atmosphere was good and most the riders seemed to be enjoying themselves
