    Dialled Bikes Morning Glory

Ti predecessor to the Prince Albert, I think 20 Mediums and 20 Larges were made.

Is the Ti Alpine ever going to be made?

I’ve not used J-Tech but LoCo did a great job in the two sets of forks I needed to have serviced. Quick turnaround and good communication.

    I would use LoCo again

mountainbiking truely is the new golf :)

it would be very cool if it were to recognised as as good a way of doing business informally as a trot round the golf course!

You could try and go for a sort evolutionary cycle, from fish to triassic dinosaur to jurassic dinosaur to cretaceous dinosaur to modern dinosaur (eg crocodile) the crocodile could then be eating the fish. You can then choose the most badass of the dinosaurs from each of the three periods :)

    Love Asterix

I wish my French was good enough to enable me to get the jokes in that trailer. Will it be coming out in English? and will the jokes translate?

What does a 15mm hub do that a 20mm hub doesn’t do aside from creating an artificial gap between their 32mm and 36mm forks?

Allow Shimano to make a bolt through hub without investing in a new hub shell forging.

But Shimano also make 20mm hubs though so they must have already had the forging, or have I misunderstood?

I made this from a F500 frame, I never tried it with drop bars, although looking at it in comparison to the cx bike above it could have worked ok as cannondales do have quite high front ends with a headshok

It worked really well in this guise, I’m not really sure why I sold it tbh

This is more about the sudden influx of freeride ski and snowboard videos that landed around the mid 90’s. As a teenager I was suddenly aware that skiing didn’t need to be confined to the groomed runs and that venturing outside the lines could lead to a greater experience

It also made me aware that sport wasn’t just confined to the mainstream sports of rugby football and cricket, and that there was a whole load of other things to do out there instead. I tried a few and mountainbiking stuck :)

I’m lacking the inspiration for an image search this afternoon, but I’ll stick up one of my all time favourite images:

Matt Hunter, I think it is awesome, you can’t see the take-off, you can’t see the landing, there seems to be no obvious route through the trees and yet he is clearly making rapid progress with plenty of style.

    Hi Brant

Why does it need to be nice wheels & middleburn cranks, why not own cheap wheels and deore cranks. giving those who want to try something new and chance to test it out for not much outlay, and upgrade if they enjoy it?

Nice frame ciderinsport – I’d never have guessed that one either :)

My frame did arrive yesterday, almost exactly 72 hrs after it was posted :/

Not overly fussed about things taking that long, but feel that if someone has paid a premium for a 24hr delivery they are enititled to some sort of refund if that timescale is missed, especially by a factor of 3

now the question is, did letmetalktomark’s frame arrive, and what was it?

Is it a normal wheel sized Cotic? BFe or Soul?

Or maybe a Rock Lobster? ( EDIT: having done a little bit of stalking on your previous posts I think I’m right on this one ciderinsport?)

I’m expecting a new frame today too. steel and big wheels, but not new and not a cotic. v excited :)

I was expecting it yesterday and the day before that, but I’m reasonably confident that it will actually manage to get to me today. It was posted using Parcelforce 24hr express service and it is now verging on 72hrs. I’ll be passing this info back to the vendor to see if they want to try and claim a refund.

A couple of years ago I was putting some things up on a shelf way above head height. It was a bit dusty, so I sneezed and headbutted the shelf below, which was at a perfect height to meet my forehead. i had to sit down for a while after that one

    2nd the Flux,

having just gone from a XL Giro Xen to a XL Flux they are slightly different shapes, but the Flux comes with a good range of different shaped pads so getting a good fit is pretty straight forward

i agree it sounds crazy, but why not buy the stuff from the online section of the lbs website? same price as crc and your still supporting the local business.

A Dialled Alpine should be on your list as well. The 18″ sits nicely between the med and large BFe’s and its aimed at the same sort of riding

my guess is posh rug, tidied away so that the bike can be built up

alternatively its a mbr branded rug that the OP is hiding from us

Coming off the back of a month of feeling unde the weather and a couple of months of crap weather I’ll be taking a gentle poodle round the Nevis Range trails.

Having said that I’ll be going for my first ride on my new Dialled Alpine so it’s entirely possible I’ll be getting carried away :)

Bell Faction comes in XS sizing (its known as the Fraction when it comes up that small)

My 4 year old has been wearing his for over a year now. It may be for a 6 yr old a S will be sufficient. The S comes in a wider range of colour schemes too.

I would totally recommend it as a helmet

I got a board for my brother for christmas a few years ago,

its a good fun game for a while and its the sort of thing that you could get into if a few friends also played, a large element of skill in getting the pieces to do what you want them to.

The board is a bit big so if you are limited for space although it does also look quite cool so could double as an ornament/coffee table type thing.

it may be that you can ride on flats in your wellys if you want to so the need for specific footwear is not so pressing
