does it work for gas hobs? I know that the electric hobs hold their heat for a long time after use so this would help the cooking process, but once a gas hob is turned off it loses its heat much more quickly.

Anyone have any experience of this working with gas too?

Our homebase kitchen was good, although we paid someone else to install it. Apparently it was all straight forward though. FInish looked good and it helped us to sell our house later on.

3rd the Prince Albert – I rode one for 3 years and loved it, I’d still be riding it now if I hadn’t bought the Ti version (Morning Glory)

The Orange looks great – go for it

i’m replying from mine now. To access sim card data have you checked the address book settings and made sure it’s reading from sim card and not phone memory? i’m getting on quite well with mine, other than a few issues syncing email. I’m coming from a blackberry storm though so i’m used to teething issues.

My RaceFace Aquanot is very good at being waterproof but its quite heavy and can get quite warm too, although it does have massive pitzips which help to keep you cool. The fabric is pretty heavy duty too.

I use it as a winter jacket but for any other season its just too much. However its a few years old so the newer versions could be different

Apparently the crap summer that we had last year has reduced everyones immune systems this winter. We didn’t get the usual amount of Vitamin D from sunlight which boosts our immune systems so now we are more likely to catch something, and because more of us are catching a bug we are spreading them around more too.

take some more Vitamin C and some Zinc which should help.

My son has a Specialized Hotwalk which he loves. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a back brake but he’s not really approaching great speeds at the moment anyway.

I’ve been one of three best men, it worked well, we split the duties – one at the front of the church, one MCing and I did the speech. Seemed to work out ok.

i use snapfish and they’ve always been good and seem cheap too. They do a next pickup from your local Jessops if you want them quickly too. The current offer is very good

I seem to be steadily falling backwards through the fleet – lost about 20k places over the last 24 hours, now every decision I make seems to lose me more.

robh drop me a mail – I’ve got a 36 pair that I bought and haven’t worn as I fitted the 34 instead. I’m usually a 34 in Gap too so the sizing should be about right – chris_read_3(at)yahoo.co.uk

I do it on my SS for winter, its makes the road sections seem a bit faster and the thinner tyres cut through the gloopy mud much better.

I think it looks rather good too, kinda purposeful

the Mk 1 had the additional tube, the rest have additional gussets instead. not sure about what colours it is currently available in Dialled Mike will be able to answer if not someone else will know I’m sure

I doubt geometry h aschanged much over the years as it was right pretty much from the get-go. seatpost size is 27.2.

I had a mk1 one but upgraded it to a Morning Glory (same frame but Ti) they’re cracking bikes and you won’t be disappointed :)
