No I havnt, mine are due one though and iv been looking at magura spares.co.uk, I’m
Not sure if they are home serviceable because they use grease not oil

Iv got a ts8 150 lift select and it’s brilliant, works well in either 150 or 120mm travel settings on my bfe, mainly leave it at 120mm, to me or feels much stiffer that the revelation it replaced, the duel arch design is a bit of a mud trap but mine has been completely fault less for a year now

Yeah, I got a day one which MissSpaniel let me keep, it’s my Christmas present. Iv found BF4 to be very good but takes some persistence to get into online, it’s quite a bit harder than BF3, graphics are awesome though

Oh also the PD engines suffer badly with DPF issues, allegedly the CR engines are a lot better, I can vouch for this having done 16,000 miles in the 15 months I have the car and I’ve never once had the regen light come on.

I have the same car, iv owned it for 15months now. It’s great, good on fuel and hasn’t drank any oil. It averaged 53.5mpg from north wales to fort bill 2 weeks ago for the DH World Cup and does 48mpg on the way to work with 5 people in it at 75-80mph, all in all a good car.

I doubt it very much, it’s melting rapidly but there was at least 6-8″ on the ground that hadn’t been cleared ( access road and car park were clear) at 4pm when I popped up this afternoon for a coffee, next weekend might be ok though

Hi, iv been using atera giros on Thule aero bars for 4 years now, they’ve been faultless, easy to set up and hold the bike without clamping it in place which is handy on hill’s, they are solid in transit aswell with a mate reporting very little movement whilst driving.

Having driven the A55 from st Asaph to broughton at 12:30 earlier to go to work, I wouldn’t say it’s treacherous, both lanes open in both directions. It was still snowing and has got heavier since them, I’ll update when I get home at about 10pm.

Ndg, I bought mine from wiggle, the lift select works really well but iv never used any other travel adjust fork. It came with a remote in the box, I fine it nice running the forks at 120mm on tamer stuff then at 150mm on bigger terrain, they’ve bedded in properly now. It took about 5-6 rides, they now feel a lot smoother and plusher than the revs they replaced, not to mention stiffer!! The double arch really makes a difference!

Mmel, your right that there isn’t much adjustment, just the air pressure and rebound, but to be honest the standard compression tune is really good, you won’t he disappointed we with revs though I liked the pair I had.

Jonedwards, the mt8 is a cracking fork, iv recently got a pair of 150 lift selects for my bfe and they are so much nice to ride than the 150 rev’s that came off it, they feel lighter in the holding them in the air test, the damping seems spot on and now that they’ve bedded in properly they are really smooth and plush aswell as bring really stiff, I’d certainly have another pair on another bike.

Mister P, what do you think of the fortitide? I was thinking of buying the frame and fork as a upgrade from the rigid 26inch giant xtc I ride now, thanks

R1chtea, iv got a e13 top guide and am using a renthal sr4 chainring, my chain guide is a e13 lg1 trail with the bottom part removed and just using the top guide, hope this helps

Personally I’d go with just a top guide, that’s what I use one mine with a clutch mech and alls been good so far, damn the greens nice btw! You’ll love riding it

I’d get the diesel, iv heard stories of 1.4 and 1.2 Tsi engines drinking oil and being prone to failure, I had a mk5 golf gti, fantastic car, drank about a litre of oil a month and never got more than 36mpg, have moved onto a 10 plate Leon fr diesel, feels exactly the same to drive apart from the obvious engine difference, it only feels slower when your really gunning it, it’ll easily average 55mpg on the motorway

My girlfriend and I bought a Bose cinemate gs 2 (2 speaker system) as a house warming present for our selves, it’s incredible, much better than the Samsung 5 speaker system it replaced and worth every penny, even though the acoustic mass module has been recalled, it is brilliant, watching tv, films playing games, everything’s really clear no matte how loud it is, you won’t regret one
