without doubt the greatest comedy show of all time. ive watched it through several times. some of the later seasons suffer with more enforced and unrealistic story lines as a vehicle for the comedy which let it down for me, (the Ayatolla stuff, this years bad actress blackmail are a bit ridiculous) originally it was normal everyday monotonous annoyances (pants tent, cut-n-chat) that it highlighted which made it so funny. That said, its still head and shoulders the funniest show ever. its incredible how his regular encounters with Susie never ever get tired!

i play squash. i always book a game for 16:20 so i have to down tools at 4pm and leave. it helps maintain a definitive end of the day, which is something the employers encourage tbf. if i dont turn up or im late its letting other people down, as oppose to walking the dog or riding my bike which i can just delay… i dont tend to play on wednesdays and as such inevitably just carry on working. never had any issues logging off at 12:30 on friday though, and work generally wont enter my head again till monday.

2017 i think. wonderful hot dry weather all week. really enjoyed sessioning the quali track, and even qualifying. the main event not so much, pretty much stuck in a traffic jam all the way from the bottleneck at the bottom of the glacier to the woods where i managed to start picking people off, which was incredible fun tbf! id like to go back to AdH that week but not race, it kindda disrupted a great week of riding for me – and the queues are horrific.

New series of After Life is absolutely shite. Milked it for one season too many. Lost all the funny characters (the psychiatrist and the prozzy) and given their airtime to OTT unfunny stupid ones (Brian and James).
It was enjoyable when in the first series he stops moping about and sees the error of his ways toward the end. Then series 2 starts and he’s back to being miserable. Forgivable once but guess what, same old saccharine nonsense repeated in series 3. Boring. Even saying c**t a lot was boring.

loving this Carl Side and Doups add-on. defo gonna look at that. we normally add on a lap of whinlatter garbanzo but apparently its no more :( the standard skiddaw/ullock loop is just a bit short for the journey. is there a definitive way up Dodd? do you go all the way to the top of Carl Side?
