i run Magura MT7 brakes, two or three of my mates also run them too. they’re incredible stoppers but the levers are a bit brittle… i would change them for something else (but keep calipers) if they didnt feel so nice!

Na, TBH as a 141 owner with a coil shock, nobody can deny the weight is considerable! and its a mental block i cant get over when asked what i think of the bike – which descends like a demon and genuinely climbs fine (seated position is the most comfortable ive ever ridden) but the mass is preventing it from being the best bike ever. i have ridden Gofie with a fair size group and was always amongst the first few to the top. My only issue is hoying it over fences & gates or loading it into the van with my sparrow arms!

Would assume the online prices will be the same as retail? bike shops will still get trade prices? If they want to remain on the shop floors, they cant be undercutting them all. Your LBS will tell them to GTF.

The benefit is experienced riders who know exactly what they want and how to build it up dont have to faff about going to a LBS. those who prefer to peruse spesh fleet in the flesh and talk to the experts can still do so?

No doubt it will still impact on their sales though, im sure they will find folk coming in to feel up their bikes, maybe even demo them – then go and buy online!
