my dad calls us (his 3 sons) faggots.
alright ya faggot what you up to?
what ya doing that for ya faggot?
turn this shit off you faggots?
    cup of tea, faggot?

sometimes he softens it to ‘fagchops’

i genuinely dont think he knows what it means outside of his own bubble tho!

if it was me id probably drive down M5/A419/M4 onto A34 rather than M40. Depending on time of day i guess – but going that route would take you right past FlyUp417…

Really enjoyed Love and Master of None. expecting 2nd series of both soon…

watched Stranger Things and The OA too, both good, both trying to out-weird each other.

Really didnt think it’d be my cuppa but The Crown is not bad either.

and theres always Still Game to go at!

thats all Netflix, but I loved Mr Robot too. Not sure what medium its on officially but all available on kodi…

its like all those gits who write into Kermode & Mayo with their over articulate reviews and refer to a film as a ‘piece’

    eff off.

i ride alone at night sometimes around MOD forests in Surrey/Hampshire. tbh you always see loads of other riders about so not too bad, but when youre plodding along, you glance to one side and your light pics up a bunch of ghillied up soldiers with gas masks, night vision lenses and machine guns crouching in the trees you tend to shit it a bit!!!

If you’ve always wanted a pedal that was clipless on one side and a regular flat pedal on the other, HT has your back with their new D1 offering.

    1) not eaten for at least two/three/four hours (delete as appropriate)

    2) undertaken several hours of hard work/exercise

    3) slept for the last 6-9 hours

i could probably keep all 3! i have not eaten a thing since 7pm last night.
i played squash after that and ive been at work since 6am this morning.

will go and grab a butty & bag of crisps soon tho, and a packet of them yoghurt covered rice cakes for my afternoon tea.

thats no strict plan or owt, just the way i am! probably should be a lot thinner but do lose my inhibitions a bit at weekend!

home from a sensational week Sainte Foy. 48hr dump before we arrived then wall to wall sunshine & blue skies for the whole week. low temps kept conditions prime up toward the end too, but its ready for a refresh now…

there was even a lot of snow on the ground when we arrived in Grenoble, all up the the valley and loads in Bourg. was very exciting!! perfect week.

Rented a pair of Volki Kendo’s. ive never really had a pair that ive thought were any better or worse than the last, but these made a big difference to me on the fresh stuff. great fun.

I bought a helmet a few years ago when we heard a rumour they were enforcing them, turned out they weren’t but wore it anyway. Would be tempting fate not to. Quite enjoy it now, feels as natural as wearing a bike helmet.

bit over £50 but bought my mrs some wireless plattans from Urbanears. they are fantastic. have used the wired plattans myself for years, will be getting another pair of wireless ones soon…

bought some of the Andoer bluetooth headphones a while ago but they make you feel like a frickin helicopter pilot! technology has moved on, the wireless plattans are no bulkier than the wired ones!

Im looking for a new coat, would like one i can wear at home when its very cold too, so considering the Alpkit Phantac? not technically a ski coat but looks warm and comfortable. any owners on here? anyone skied in one? the filo’s looks a bit too bulky for me.

less than two weeks till we return to Sainte Foy. snow outlook obviously looking bleak (which it did this time last year too but we ended up with loads!) but like last year again im seriously considering packing some bike gear just in case. Would White Room or any ski shops be willing to rent a bike a bike out this time of year and provide any guiding for a day or two?

I also wanted to go packless, bought some of the spesh swat bibs. They’re great but after a while I got sick of loading up my pockets with gear before every ride and decanting everything at the end. My pack is packed and stays packed. Just found it easier to grab that and go in the end… no doubt I’ll re assess the situation come summer….!

saw it last night, absolutely loved it and glad to have seen it in 2d.

sat here disagreeing with all the negative comments until this one

The entire ‘we need to run a cable to hardware a radio signal up to the sky’ plot was excruciating.

    that was pretty lame!

Well I thought she might like that I chose what I think she will like… but I also got some samples etc so if she doesn’t like it she can exchange it. Got talked into a matching candle too!!

It’s the one with sea salt in it, dunno it’s all gift wrapped…
