    this is too much!

I normally refrain from negative comments but I don’t get it at all, especially that piss coloured hope stuff! One or two components is fine, but matching everything up just looks hideous and ostentatious imo… each to their own!

i was one of three once, hated it. hated the idea and offered to step aside but he wanted the 3. i pretty much wrote the whole speech too but had to share the credit, the other two added a few cliche gags from the internet which i just found embarrassing.

im sure, but i may be wrong, that back in the day instagram wasnt a social media vehicle, but more just an app you could you use to create interesting photographs with? thats what i use it for anyway, and thats why my account is private. i have a few followers who are all bike people who i know will appreciate the content, i dont want debbie on facebook who cant believe its monday again posting pics of her dinner…

i also hate being obliterated by pics of other peoples hobbies on fb too so dont want to be another person doing that either! instabang is where its at!

No idea what them little story things are at the top of the screen tho!??

I’d be very surprised if she does any more of it, and it’ll be interesting to see what she does next.

me too. although maybe revisit them all in 10 yrs or so. i like this thread, ive watched Girls for years and never talked about it before because nobody i know ever saw it! pretty incredible that this 30 yr old girl (25 when they started!) could write, produce, direct and star in such a brilliant show!! thats than attractive quality for sure!

the Bose sound is impressive for a portable speaker. for proper premium immersive audio you need something else but to just to provide a bit of background noise while your cooking or whatever its great, and theres always enough juice to crank it up if your fave tune comes on… infinitely better than the phone in a mug anyway…

Girls was brilliant but i didnt enjoy the last season, not enough of Rays eloquent dialogue or Desi’s meltdowns, or Adam!

I guess thats why it ended, everyone had grown up and grown apart. wasnt fun anymore.

Lena Dunham does look lovely when you see her as herself, but never did it for me as Hannah.

My Krush is Gemma Arterton. but not sure its kooky? she’s a goddess!!!

I have a Bose SoundLink speaker thing. its great and we use it alot, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the garden, or in the garage if im dicking about with bikes, comes on all holidays and camping trips! Has a rubbery coating so feels really durable too.

could probably cope with the pace if we were given the full series to binge on!! in fact reckon i might let a few episodes build up now…

We are there at the same time, and all week prior! plan is to stay in Bourg and ride what we can of Les Arcs with away days to Tignes, Val, La Thuile etc.

Losing patience with this now. Do we really need to sit with Mike on his stakeout in realtime!? Zzzzzzz 3rd series 2 eps and he’s still not even conceived Saul yet!? Don’t get me wrong I’ve enjoyed it so far, but fully expected them to crank up the pace this series!?

ive also hit a trip wire, and run into one of them camouflage bivvy things! but its most scary when you dont see or hear them and you stop to check your garmin or whatever, then look up and realise there loads of them stood looking at you!!

i seem to have ridden straight into the middle of army exercises about 4 rides in a row!! is WW3 imminent or something?

i dont know me way round well enough so when im turned back i usually end up completely lost!

yeah looking forward to it, especially as i just blitzed through all new The Get Down eps and s2 of Love – bit gutted were drip fed 1-a-week though…

another recent revert back to flats here too. the confidence they inspire when it gets steep and rowdy is amazing!! no doubt clips are more efficient but unless you are racing who cares. Felt weird at first when my feet came away from the pedals in the air or they slipped off on impact from landing a drop, but that was all lack of skill on my part which i seem to be improving on – so flats ftw!

this might be a slight hijack but i was reading that you can get shade tolerant turf, ie a lawn in a north facing garden that doesnt instantly become a gloopy boggy mossy mess??

Does it work, is it any good, or is it bollocks?

as a local i was also gonna say The Fish & Chip Co, i had to check that were talking about the same plaice ( ) never bothered to take note of what its called before, but we are, and its the only one we ever head for!

However, it appears that Taylors do indeed use beef dripping! Fish & Chip Co dont…

I guy I used to work for went into his bedroom to be confronted by his old man cranking away at his old chap while looking at his rhythm pamphlet collection.

Reminds me of time I was kneeling before a semi circle of love on the bedroom floor when suddenly the window cleaner appeared outside!

He gave a nod, wink and a thumbs up then carried on with his squeegee….!

thanks for the reminder. need to make a decision by 31st. im not sure yet, i dont have many business expenses to claim vat back on, so need to work out whether its worth the effort changing to standard… but plodding on at 16.5% is basically saying sayonara to 2 grand a year!?

cheers y89. just had a butchers on strava, looks like they’re all represented, some are at least. long crazy L, hole in the wall etc? looks to be a fair easy detour off the red too…

i definitely prefer sessioning the fun stuff rather than clocking the mileage, although id love a big natural NY moor ride if we were to be without curfew.

Wykeham looks like it could be a winner! although with Dalby i suppose they can have a mooch round the Gruffalo trail at the same time…

    i read these threads; http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/tell-me-about-dalby-1 & http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/dalby-forest-mtb

consensus seems to be its a bit boring?
