Apparently you can fashion outfits with items from the store & trapper to make Arthur look like Hans Solo or Woody from Toy Story! That’s tonight’s mission…

The citizens of Saint Denis really are a bunch of snowflakes. Just need to look at them the wrong way and off they go crying to the law.

They really are. its doin my frickin head in now. im getting slaughtered for even antagonising folk as i walk past!

Really considering just paying my bounties off, must have been murdered 10 times last night, that would have cost me $1500, my bounty stands at about $2k in total. no fun walking round on egg shells!

Also. the gunsmith in St Denis has an illegal poker game going on upstairs, i robbed it naturally – but how do you open the safe?

yeah mine tends to get left until the next time i use it – so i bang the old brewed granules into the bin and give the filter & jug a little swirl under the tap, thats about it.

love my Moka. its only a non branded steel one, charred and stained from excessive use. we upgraded to a fancy nespresso machine once but that just gathers dust – apart from the milk frother bit…

btw. i have recently taken to filling the bottom up with hot water from the kettle before i put it on the stove – this way the jug fills up with creamy hot nectar almost instantly rather than having to wait 10 / 15 minutes!! is this sacrilege??

Dunno if theyre dog friendly but id ring a few places around the Bagshot / Lightwater junction, rather than Fleet Farnborough. White Hart at Chobham is lovely, or Brickmakers at Windlesham?

spent ages last night night searching for a bastard white horse in the far north west. took so long to get there i wasnt leaving easily. but in the end i had to sack it off. the only consolation was the legendary white bison pelt i bagged – but then i was eaten by wolves and lost it.

dual swan offs, lancaster repeater and the semi auto shotgun are my go-to’s.

however, my favourite weapon by miles, if you can call it that, is the Lasso!!

are there any purchases worth keeping hold of my dollar for later on? ive bought all the camp upgardes, loads of outfits, a pimp saddle –  just think whether it might be worth just paying my bounties now? esp in Saint D, where the lawmen are tenfold and come down on my ass like a hoard of locusts, even when i executed some rat who tried to rob me!

started chapter 4, had a mooch round Saint Denis getting into bother for antagonising the locals. bought some new threads, had a haircut, interrupted some grave diggers and murdered about 400 SDPD who tried to stop me.

feels like im progressing a bit quick. need to chill out and do some hunting/fishing.

incidentally, was walking the dog through the woods yesterday when i spotted a squirrel and inadvertently reached for my bow!!

it’s just a shame that Sky and her sister didn’t.

    LOL i fooookin hated Skylar!!

I have just finished a re-run of the whole show actually. was great to watch a second time, especially having seen BCS in the meantime

usually listening to back episodes of Marc Maron, Buckles or Mince.

    Crouchy is great

RHLSTP was a firm favourite till i saw it live in Manchester and decided i hate his audience for obediently belly laughing at the boring unfunny no-mark guests he had on.

Downtime is decent but as most mtb podcasts they’re scraping the barrel for guests nowadays.

Wittertainment would be ok if they stopped reading out unbearable listener correspondence.

Jon Ronson’s Butterfly Effect was a 7 parter. brilliant listen!

despite being an avid mountiain biker with all the latest gear, i still look like a div, and i think all my mates look like divs. whenever i see a group congregate at a local rendezvous, they all look like divs. the only guys who dont look like divs are the pro’s coz theyre paid to wear the divvy gear, or them lads who can ride about in jeans and a hoody like  you see in them sick edit drops brah.

As for eye wear, i struggle with any unless its dry bright and sunny! but goggles do make me feel slightly more protected, pretty sure i push it a bit harder in googles? but ultimately they are too much of a PITA for general riding…

After 5 years of a posh, all inclusive, catered chalet type jobs, we need to find a cheap alternative this season.

Up until 5 years ago I always just went on my own with the lads. Ive skied since I was about 17, we used to book allocation on arrival deals with Airtours, pitch up at the airport with no idea where we were going! For me its always been about the skiing, I couldn’t give a shit about fancy hotels or catered chalets, id honestly sleep in my van and eat bread and cheese all week if I could ski every day!

Unfortunately this sentiment is not shared by my wife and kids. For them its very much about the salubrious digs and nice food and less about time on the slopes.

But, having been out of work for a large part of this year, and now earning a chunk less than in recent years we cant afford to go with our usual crew. In fact, being a bit more skint lately an looking back at what it normally costs ‘all in’ was quite a shock and not an amount I ever wanna spend again regardless of circumstance.

I need either very cheap catered, or really nice self catered. I am considering driving down not only to save on flights but also make the location less of an issue? Need to prove to the mrs that a SC ski holiday is not the hell she imagines it will be..

Ideally I’d like to be anywhere between Les Arcs and Val up the Tarentaise Valley. Our regular patch is Sainte Foy so would like to ski there one day at least… maybe even meet up with our mates if the dates align…

were not restricted to half term, but gonna need equipment hire and kids lessons.

    Any advice great fully received.

Noticed some great apartments on Airbnb!

discovered lassoing randoms off their horse and dragging them cross the landscape till they are dead is a fun thing to do! they dont half scream! not sure you get into any bother for it either, apart from a bit of honour?

yeah that is the only negative for me at the moment, acting in self defence (honest!) but being grassed up and then set upon!

still to hogtie anyone to the rail tracks too, always too many witnesses and the cavalry turn up before the deed is done.

many enemies got cooked on the fire last night tho, but they dont scream enough when they’re burned alive :(

my 7yr old girl likes playing (and can play well) little big planet 3, Rayman and Unravelled on my PS4.

Unravelled 2 is spectacular and great fun when played in co-op with each other.

finished Haunting of Hill House. i though it was spectacular. there was one episode in particular, maybe 6 or 7 where they’re at the funeral parlour – that is just insanely good.

onto second series of GLOW now.

also, i watched half an hour of the 1st episode of Schitts Creek. seems pretty funny but it hasnt stuck on me yet…

It’s all dollar for the airport and and the airlines tho innit… I have a friend who used to be cabin crew on a budget euro hopper airline. They used to to flog their own wares to the lairy’s for extra cash!!

i am very much in the binners camp here, or i always have been. but im beginning to waiver. dont really see the point any more. i would skull 2 maybe 3 in departures, another couple on the plane. then have to endure a long PITA transfer and arrive in resort feeling terrible.

also flying for business duties takes the old shine off airports, and sharing them with giddy package holiday punters on the pop aint fun.

how much is a chunk? can you stash your money somewhere? im felling flush after robbing an armoured security van (coach) and looting a few homesteads. id like to hide it away before turning myself in…

bounty hunters are a PITA. also witnesses seem to have super spidey senses and can spot my ill deeds from miles away!!

was an amazing summer, but these 3 spring to mind quite easily…

    1. Golfie. mid week ride in July, had already been dry for months. drove up the night before and kipped in the van. rode pretty much all day til i couldn’t turn another pedal. perfect conditions! so good i stayed another night!

    2. Malaga (Mijas) after a couple of days guided with switchback we had one more day to ourselves to revisit some of the best stuff we’d been shown. long hot day finished at the beach with beers.

    3. Lakes. dawn raid on Skiddaw, summited for the sunset, perfect clear morning. descended Longside edge then up and down Grisedale pike, all before a single foot bandit had hit the fells and back home in time for breakfast!
