You could travel further south and do the Canal du Midi. Coast to coast or start in Toulouse and do half . Ideal for easy pootle.

Didn’t he ride a multiday route in Wales a few weeks back ? We usually get a report from his rides and pics, but nothing this time …..yet.

Ours is a panel van, but bed only 6’2 and height inside about same so not necessarily the ideal van type for Ton. Much research required

Tony you need to look in different vans to see want you want – layout, bed size , extras like fridge, sink, etc and most importantly for you Dimensions inside.
Recommend you go to Wellhouse campers up at Shepley, got a good range of smaller vans to view.

Had mine 6 years now Tony and never had any bother with it. Rode it through all winters and a lot in last years summer through mud. Changed the cog 18 months ago and had about 5 chains in 6 years. I know its expensive but I expect it will last many years yet. From what I know its a better range of gears than alfine and its low enough to get you up the hills.

Singlespeed Shep[/quote][depends if you asked for a next day service. If not then they have 3-5 days to get the item to you]

So why cant they change delivery address before dispatch ?

Just been on the phone to Evans enquiring about my order for 2 IN STOCK items 3 days ago – not yet dispatched. So a reasonable request – can I change my delivery address to workplace rather than home as it obviously wont arrive until later next week when im back at work. “thats not possible sir” Why ? when do you intend to dispatch says I , “later today or tommorrow” he says . So why ? ORDER CANCELLED !
I`ll be sticking with Chain reaction who always dispatch my parcels same or following day and I receive them next day.
Evans crap service ! or what ?

Colmar is worth a visit and the surrounding villages Ribeauville,
Kaysersberg and Riquewihr are Quaint. All the riding in that side of Vosges is in the Regional natural Parc Ballons de Vosges – MOST in forest. Should be some GR tracks you could follow have a search on GR site Tony.
