Why are you doing strengthening exercises on an inflamed knee you will only make the inflammation worse you need to rest it.These type of injuries are frustrating but you will need some time off the bike. Ice and Ibuprofen,I wouldnt be exercising until pain free
    Good Luck

Mines from working stock.need plenty walking ,great with kids, workers not as nippy as the show type.just be careful if thinking about taking them biking they will keep going all day sometimes to there detriment ,mines slipped a disc as a result ,wouldn’t risk it again, glad to say she is pretty much back to normal but I was beside myself as I blame myself for pushing her too much

Depends what type of nurse he saw-practice nurse?
If it was Emergency nurse practitioner he saw, knees would be part of there bread and butter. If they weren’t sure of diagnosis they would refer you on anyway.(not advocating going to A/E with chronic knee problem by the way)
I would be more prone to listen to them than some of the physios i have seen, and that will be £50
Best bet is Orthopedic doc preferably one with an interest patellofemoral issues
Rest meantime until you have diagnosis,if squats ect are causing pain its body giving prompts not to do them

This old one – dont deviate from the path.
It took us about 3 1/2 hours last month Inversnaid to Ben Ghlas(good place to stay), one of the guys with us was struggling a bit with his fitness.
The last bit before Inversnaid a bit off/ony but not too bad
Quite enjoyed some of the bits at the start of Loch Lomandside especially the bit with the steps before Rowardennan
Good Route you will enjoy it (well most of it)

Scotty You haven’t cycled it either, unless you are Hans Ray.

My mrs regretted not being at home when kids were wee eventually got made redundant when kids 6 and 8 and loves being there for them .careers are overrated. when you add up child care petrol and other expenses of mum going to work she wasn’t left with much.the kids also appreciate having mum there.i work by the way and don’t claim any benefits.if I was in your position I would have one of youse at home preferably the mother they are better at motherhood
