Thought about taking your touring bike, roads a plenty tarmac and land rover tracks (Piste).great place for this.
Wouldn’t ride a bike in Marrakesh though-mental. Sling your bike on a taxi and get to quieter roads.

I’m sure it’s been done before,re getting him to buyi a new one,I will pass and stick to the pocket rocket
According to alpkit there new stoves come with a pan support to allow use with other pots
They did offer a discount on a new one and referenced the instructions,I knew I shouldn’t have used them to light the fire

All for quality gear can understand why people would want it but if I paid over £200 quid for bibs I can honestly say my wife would kick my head in.

Where do you go after Blainedon,do you end up at carim lodge then down the single track road to dunblane?

    Did a route last month-

start at parking spot castlehill reservoir in glen devon
through glen quey, past castle campbel down to dollar

from dollar there is a cycle path which will take you to Tillicoultry
from there behind the golf course there is a track that goes through the ochil hills woodland park

follow until you come to silver glen
grit your teeth and follow the track to just before it turns left basically about the end of the track

push up between ben buck and Ben cleuch
    Up to Summit of Cleuch
then make your way to Andrew gannel and then kings seat
    then descend to Castle campbel
Back along glen quey to start point

A fair bit of ascent and descent,i enjoyed it even though ground was very soft especially coming off cleuch, been frosty so should be ok

Look on OS map it will make sense

Is this the route your on about
Ryvoan over to Abernethy forest -resurfaced path
The bit from Tommintoul to Braemar the estate has been resurfaced the track, found it a bit dull apart from middle bit at loch buig
Dont get me wrong scenery is good but paths dull after resurfacing, had done this years ago paths were rough and ready so more interesting

I would recommend from glen more head over the saddle of Bynack Mor (Lairig an Laoigh) then down past the avon refuge anf Glen Derry to linn of dee,nip along road and stay in braemar. Some hikey bikey infolved if you go for this option
Retrace steps in the morning and head out to glen tilt and then back to Blair Athol

Mines was 6 weeks before I was back biking but depends what they find when they have a nose and how you recover.slow and steady and don’t overload your knee ,diclofec helped,my knee niggles now and again but doesn’t lock which was a right Royal pita
No regrets about getting it done
    Good luck with yours

having done both, both good but would recommend capel mounth especially if descending corrie chash-
    park at glen doll
up track past moulzie onto bachnagarn then push up hill to shed they store feed in
then descend corie chash this is cracker ,down to loch muick, arond loch clockwise (there is singletrack on southside of loch that will get you the base of capel climb, did ages ago cant remember what it was like) to base of capel mouth track up and then descend,(good descent) back to glen doll car park
