If you want to stay off road from kinghorn, follow track at kinghorn golf club over to B923,cross the road ,on left is entrance to path up to binn, head straight until you come to first turning on left and descend to Burntisland golf club, go into the car park turn right down the hill a bit then turn left through some woods and then you can pick your way down to coast road.
if you look on strava heat maps you will get the picture.
Failing that the new cycle path, kinghorn to Burntisland is grand.
Roasting project in Burntisland, good coffee spot.

fasthaggis, Inverkeithing to Kincardine pleasant ride goes through Culross.
Coorie by the Coast at limekilns is good cafe

    Rt knee this time.
I’m in a cast will review Thursday on whether or not to operate.
it’s a long recovery, don’t push it steady away try and not to get too frustrated ,as hard as that is, about not being able to bike
    Good luck with your recovery

Problem is dafties wont stay put on the islaand and try to wade trough the water/incoming tide to get back to mainland and then get into difficulties – The coastguard/lifeboat wont leave them on the island for this reason

    Im not alone…

Experienced this for first time 8 weeks ago-never felt pain like it .Triggered by being dehydrated.

Diet is fairly healthy but I do like a beer or two

Used Diclofenic and Colchicine in acute phase .Started taking cherry capsules as suggested they may help

Acute pain/swelling lasted about 7 days ,still grumbling away though

Had some bloods done urea high,so going to have repeat bloods done if still high may have to go onto Allopurinol which I wouldn’t have a problem with as long as I never experienced the pain again.
