Thanks all for the advice to help Weeksy get them working, Iā€™d have asked the same questions had I fitted them to a bike.

    Thanks guys.

The Paulā€™s device looks good. Seems I have the option of something like this or buying a thick/thin ring and a clutched mech. This was supposed to be a cheap buildā€¦..

And Superficial ā€“ autocorrect! drivetrain indeed šŸ˜‰

The Easton Haven wheelset from a couple of years ago, that CRC are still knocking out for less than half price, have a reputation for being badly sealed and premature failure.

Latest ones are supposed to have sorted out the issue.

Just buy a set and when the hub fails just have them replaced with the new model on warranty šŸ˜‰

Thanks for the input guys (and girls?). Having spent the weekend looking at apps to convert contacts etc Iā€™ve come to the conclusion that Iā€™m sticking with IOS and going for an iPhone5. Wife is getting my nearly new ā€˜4Sā€™ and changing her contract to SIM only which will save us some Ā£Ā£s. My company pay my contract and any upgrade fee šŸ™‚

Thanks Mountain King. Iā€™ve been rocking a green Ibis Mojo all summer but just traded it for a Yeti Big Top.

Road with the Old Sun fellas one Sunday morning in June and they were cool but Iā€™m usually out too early to be sociable on weekends.

hammerite ā€“ will check out Cardington. Thursday nights are good for me. Thanks

3 months before I was back on the bike. I had ā€œcomplicationsā€.

This is a classic example of whatā€™s wrong with STW classified these days. All sellers are just users, readers etc who are usually just recycling their stuff and with actual jobs yet most buyers expect OnlineDiscountStore dispatch/delivery times. Iā€™m always amazed by the wanted ads for xtr shifters, chains and cassettes. Why buy them here anyways?

Belthazar on the waterfront in Cape Town. Awesome Argentinian steak, perfectly cooked and ā€œthe biggest wine by the glassā€ menu is Africa. Iā€™d recommend the local (Stellenbosch) Alto Rouge šŸ˜‰

I'm 6'4" with a 36" inside leg and chimp arms. I've owned a Yeti ASR, SC Superlight and Giant Anthem in XL sizes. Of the three the Giant was the best fit and fastest to ride XC (after I changed the Manitou sPV for a Fox RP3 with PP) but the Yeti was more fun/inspiring to ride. But then these are short travel XC bikes.

I've not owned a longer travel (All Mountain) bike yet but have test ridden an XL Cannondale RZ120 and I considered buying one and will be trying a Trek EX soon. Both are within your budget.

Best advice is go to some test days and try a few out.
