i was out riding in 6 but had a mental block for ages. Told myself in great STW tradition to MTFU. It did'nt work.

Na after about 3 or 4 weeks of complete rest i started going to spin classes to get my lega back in order then on the bike gently after 6.

Take it easy though because its so easy as you heal to start rushing and another fall or jerk will set you back to day 1.

Unlucky bud, i broke my collar bone last year and was off work for 2 months and that nearly killed me, along with the misses being sick of my ugly mug.

Ye it was a brown frame, it had some very distinctive scratches on it along with the police stamp. I dont know how they get rid of them whether they ebay the parts or sell on to other muppets for some hash money. Ill need to have a chat with the police when i get back cos i loved that bike…not in a weird way tho 😯

Hey finners – im out working in the US at the moment but i had a Medium frame Pitch Pro. Nothing much changed on it. But luckily i had it UV stamped by the police and registered with them a while back so im hoping that might help getting it back.

The other was a red Spesh allez. Just bought it for the misses recently. 54cm frame.

thanks for keeping an eye out buddy. Ill be back in a week or so if you fancy a ride somewhere. ill have to get a new ride tho 😀

i had a pitch pro and a spesh allez road bike nicked this morning. I had 2 very good chains round them. But as i knew could happen the little **** came tooled up and just went through them.

The pitch was insured but i was getting round to my misses road bike, but as usual it was 'ill do it tomorrow' thing.

Depends on how you use it. ill get a few hours out of it watching a film, but if i just play music and keep the screen off it goes for a good 18 hours at least.

    Corking bit of kit!!

Arnold Clark are the biggest shower of co@ks i have ever met.
Their after sales service is shocking and about as insulting as it can get.

Why not look for a private car. Get the AA or another company to come with you when you have narrowed down your search, not sure how much they charge but im sure its around the 120 quid mark. Well spent methinks.

But if you decide you would like a P plate A4 with 130,000 miles on the clock then drop me a line 😀

Cheers stuartie, that would be good, ill email you when i know roughly my dates. Though reading on here are you a bit of a racing snake? 😀 my legs aint bad but not snake standard 😛

epicsteve – Mount keen is on my list of rides to do. ill check out my map stash and plan a route. Might have to be early doors as the family will have things planned. Between that and pitmedden i should be happy.

Im looking forward to just getting away from trail centres. While they are great its such a shame not to see more of scotland while i can 😛

I'm afraid the world is changing, or look at it another way – the period 1945 to 1995 was just a blip in the world-order, when the average UK worker (or even non-worker) got looked after. Hasn't happened before, won't happen again.

Only if it is accepted, which by all accounts the spineless UK workers have.

Fair point El-bent but what choice do most people have at this point as money is badly needed to put food on the table.
