Right i honestly dont get twitter, im not knocking it at all but what is the point of following peoples random thoughts when you dont know or probably dont want to know them

Not trolling or owt, just curious. Seems pretty stalkerish to me. But im pretty slow on the uptake most of the time 😀

2 large heinekens and im feeling the love, playing a nice easy Live Forever from Oasis on the guitar. Finally feeling that the amount of hours i have put into this guitar since i started 5 months ago are finally paying off.

    Hugs all round 😀

    This is what you want!

My physio advised me to get one of these for a problem in my calf and hamstring.

Ace bit of kit and probably the best 13 quid you will spend.

No i dont expect the UK distributor to sort it for me, as i said i have contacted the seller about how i go about getting brand new brakes fixed through warranty. If that was not going to work out i wanted to know who dealt with it in the UK and i would happily pay to have them repaired. i certainly do not expect them to fix them for free.

    What is wrong with that??

Oil is leaking straight from the caliper internal onto the pads and rotor.

I called my LBS for advice as they fitted them and they reckon it is a seal in the caliper. No biggie, seller has replied. Getting there 😀

Its just one of those things and hopefully will be sorted soon.

Also i didnt buy from a shop but from an Ebay seller (shop) in France. But he has over 8000 positive ratings so although it was a gamble i thought it was worth the risk.

On a kitesurfing forum i use there used to be a feedback section where everybody could discuss any sales that had gone right or wrong.

It worked very well with mainly good feedback reported but some scammers were exposed. But obviously the kitesurfing world is a lot smaller than the cycling one so there seemed to be more trust all round.

But the system can be open to abuse.

I was employing my partner for a year, basically i work as a limited company. She was employed as my secretary and i paid her and myself the miminum wage. It was done to drop the tax bill the company got.

But at the time she was not working due to health issues.

Not everybody in Scotland wants to be independant.

In fact pretty much everybody I know with more than 2 brain cells are filled with horror at the idea.

The problem is that the people who harp on about wanting it have absolutely no idea on how the policies are going to be implemented or even care.

because its always your way or the highway

Aye and your way seems to always attack people on a personal level.
Good arguments by the way, but you lose the minute you call somebody a retard because they dont have the same opinion as you.

Rusty, no its just a small but very clear surface crack.

Don, that is usually my way of doing things. In fact they have my bike at the moment fitting new brakes but im just trying to get my whole biking knowledge a bit broader and to be honest headsets and their sizing does confuse me. But maybe i am easily confused 😀

There are 2 sides to the coin i with this one i reckon.

I work offshore and i feel the time off is a lot more quality time for the family as i get all day every day with them if we wanted. Compare that with an hour in the morning and an hour at night with your young ones. If your family can cope with the changes, ie you coming and going then i would defo give it some thought to working 4/4. But your wife has be on your side 100% because if she is not then your world will be a nightmare when you are away.

Also do u need any rope access inspectors out in oz, i know a top chap 😀

Nope happy to discuss, but before we do please tell me about the changes you have made to your life to try to sort this global catastrophe.

Honest reply and im honestly not trying to provoke. Just that it seems a very thin and transparant statement.

why do they let it affect their mood so much?

Unfortunately i have absolutely no choice about this, BUT i know what works for me to help my mood in the near perpetual darkness that is the UK winters.

But im glad you are ok and doing well. But watch its a long way to fall off that high horse of yours 😀

Kettlebell circuits are the best thing i have done exercise-wise in a long time.

I started by going to a class, but i quicky found it was more orientated towards middle-aged ladies so i changed to another trainer and his classes are ace. He explains the routines along with stressing the proper posture throughout.

At home i use The Ultimate Kettlebell Workbook from Dave Randolph.

Again, it has different routines for varying levels and what you are trying to achieve along with well explained and photographed exercises.

    Love it!!!

Using mostly a 16kg at the moment, that fits well with me as im not after low rep strength work, mainly high rep intervals.

The only thing keeping me sane is my kettlebell routine and long runs in the evening, that way i feel that im not too cooped up in utter darkness 😥

I really dont handle the winters very well 👿

Saying that i had a good 30 mile road ride the other day, Slow but good to get the legs moving 😀

Nope, to particular resolutions for me although this year i will be doing my first triathlon. And if that goes well then more to follow.

Just riding more, stop mooching around and motivating myself to do more when i get in a rut sometimes 😀

The one I really hate now is saying “Can I get?” Instead of “May I have?”

When I’m in a cafe and the person in front of me says “Can I get a cappuccino?” I just want to hurt someone.

Really, out of all the americanisms and misuse of the english language used every day this annoys you the most. 😀 chortle

I’m not sure what line of work you are in but from the time i wotked out there, be prepared to live and spend the majority of your time in ex-pat villages. Most are fenced off.

I found Sauidi as a whole very unwelcoming and i tried extremely hard to visit the country, experience as much of it as possible. BUT as with most places i met some of the most amazing and friendly individuals as well.

I would not rush back. In fact i would do anything not to spend any time out there. Realy not my cup of tea.

If the wages were not as expected then the plan of going out for 2 years to put money down on a house etc might not be worth it.

“Assault” seems to be claimed nowadays even if you just touch somebody.
The lad provoked this and could have have walked away when he was ejected from the train. But no ! He wouldn’t leave it alone and got pushed over .So what.Happens every Saturday night in town centres.
If you’re prepared to be foul mouthed and abusive then someone at some point will shut you up.

Pretty sums up my thinking. Far too much hand wringing about the lads rights and not enough about everybody elses on the train who had to put up with the consequencies of his actions.
