professional photography is expensive – that's just the way it is. We have a book of photographers that we use for commercial shoots for work and they're all thereabouts £1000 day rate, that doesn't include any digital capture, processing, props or wardrobe needed for the shoot, location costs… the list goes on. But you get bloody good shots that make or break a high end brochure for the likes of Henri Lloyd/Brawn GP (just one example we did)

They only get one chance to get it right. I'd bechecking they're downloading from card to laptop on the day to ensure no data lost. Oh and it doesn't have to be that dear, depends what you're looking for. It's also far cheaper abroad. We got married in Greece, the photographer was great, he gave us all the imageson disc plus an album ( granted the album was nowt fancy like some of the beautiful leather ones you can get) for less than 200quid

I've done my local half marathon 4 times although last one was 05. My best time was 1.31 which was annoying as I really wanted to crack the 1.30. The course makes a big difference to your ti
e so I wouldn't worry too much to be honest. I only ever trained for 10 weeks and ran every other day, gradually upping my distance to around 10 miles. You will naturally run faster come race day!

There is a fair chance that they can be rehabilitated but the criminal sentence makes it less likely. Venables and Thompson – the bulger killers – one of them was well rehabilitated the other less successfully.

@scu98rkr – (i think) my point was that I don't think 5 years is long enough for any sort of rehabilitation given the extreme nature of the crime and the appalling upbringing they clearly had. I hope they don't have a 'normal' life in the future, i don't think they deserve to. Maybe that's ignorant and non-forgiving of me but if it happened to my son i'd damn well make sure they suffered!

We went for a long weekend and stayed in the Barcelona princess, it's about 10-15 mins on the underground to the ramblas. The underground is fantastic and dirt cheap. There is an open air bus tour with headphones which you can jump on and off as you please, good way to get you bearings and decide where you'd like to spend more time. Barcelonneta beach is only a couple of stops on the tube too. If you want to visit the gaudi house and apartment block and sagrada familia then go early to avoid the queues

The 6.30pm I whole heartedly agree with, lighting up hotrods in the early hours is unacceptable. We had nearly 3 years of living next to shitty neighbours in a rented property, it's one of the worst things to go through, especially with a young child who has difficulty sleeping, I know!!
