ripped my shimano shoes and sent them back to CRC for a warranty replacement. borrowed some flat pedals off a mate for a few weeks. Ive not ridden flats for over 20 years. The pedals weren’t anything special, and didn’t have pins on them, and i was riding in an old pair of trainers… but i found it bloody awful. on fast rocky descents my feet were all over the place, and climbing felt like hard work. Im sure with a decent pedal, and a good shoe, it would have been a different story, but i can’t see myself switching

usual benefit of private, is zero waiting time. depends on your local area though. think it was only around 6 weeks when i went. that, combined with zero cost swung it.

tidy little scam they have going?

that sounds very poor, especially going privately. I would go down there and cause a fuss at reception.

when booking our family holiday to greece this year, it went up £150 from the time we started looking, to when we booked. We booked and paid at 10pm. By 8.30am the following day it had gone down to the original price. So i phoned them up and complained. didn’t expect to get very far…

    they refunded me the difference.

Thassos has some fantastic beaches. small enough island that you visit most of them in a day with a car. Kefalonia and Lefkas also have great beaches. Don’t be put off by Kavos, as Corfu is a huge island – the North is very picturesque, and some lovely resorts.

At 6’2″ I’d say you’d be fine on it. They seem to size up pretty small imo

Macc aldi had more than their fair share of large and X large tops, very few medium. Seems aldi’ customer demographic is ‘leisure’
33″-35″ waist shorts were like clown pants. Disappointed to see the ‘camelbaks’ don’t actually come with a bladder.

we have an almost 19 year old indoor cat, that chooses to crimp one off wherever she likes randomly, despite having a clean litter tray. she eats like a trooper too. and pukes it at various choice locations. Stubborn little fcuker keeps on truckin though. she’s outlived two other cats we’ve had

their ‘camelbaks’ look like they might be worth a punt at that price?!

I like it. In to see a brand trying different design approaches, and not punting another “me too” frame.
