Been with thence since they started – had a few problems over the years. Early days the customer service was shoot, but these days they’re as good as any IMO. Getting 12mb too and its uncapped. Happy

M1NGE knocking round Manchester on a Beemer last time I saw it

It’s flat so you’re hemmed in by trees with no views whereas to the north you are surrounded by glorious fells and in easy reach of The Lakes, the West Pennines, the Pennines and the Dales.

You’ve not visited Macc, bollington, romiley, marple, etc then

Macclesfiled’er here – trains into manc. Couple of great schools, fallibroome in particular, has academy status and places are fiercly sought after. Riding from door is easy.

Mate of mine works in local shop, he said their customer service is poor and they’re thinking off switching to another brand instead.

Bought one bike on 12 mths interest free and second on cyclescheme – with the cost of a well specced bike approaching the price of a nice 2nd hand car it makes sense. Far better for the money to stay with me for longer

Thought that might be the case – I’ve never done any night riding but was led to believe it was always best to have a bar/head combo

Interesting you prefer a head mount for one light option tj, can I ask why? Other than the obvious seeing round bends of course

Maybe they’ve come down a hit then clubber or you got a great deal – either way it still saved us a fortune buying theres

They bought every single piece that was available, the undertray, clip on bag, car seat, Iso-fix seat base, carry cot, all the relevant rain covers, the foot muffs. Winter kit, it’s quite ridiculous tbh

Our second was born nearly a week ago give or take 2 hours. This time we bought 2nd hand off a neighbour. We bought their quinny buzz with all the associated accessories. They spent close to a thousand quid on everything, we bought it for 200 quid and it’s in great condition as theyre lastly and go everywhere in the car 🙂

Neninja on here has a great looking light coming out soon, I’ll be looking to buy one of those I think – very lupine piko-esque

I wanted a tv unit making as I couldn’t find anything I liked that was the size I was after. In he end I found a style online I liked, then drew up one using google sketch up to my exact shelf widths and got a local place to make it – 1.5 metres wide with two cupboards and and draw in oak – 400 quid

Well after a traumatic start and it looking like we were going down the road of a section like last time, my amazing wife pulled it out the bag and at 8.12pm with a bit of pulling from the midwife, Evan made himself known at a petite 6lb 5, everyone thought he was a she so that was quite a surprise! He’s a handsome little devil 🙂

I’d like to say I’m a dab hand, this is no.2 – but no.1 ended up being a EC-Section, fingers crossed this one runs smoother

The current ay ups were boosted from their original output weren’t they – aren’t they about 600 lumens per pair now? Mate gas a set and they certainly throw plenty of light and battery life is superb. The thing I like is the batteries are very small.

You can reset the password with the install disks (which you say you haven’t got unfortunately) I think that the disks from that era weren’t machine specific like these days. I might have a backup set of disks – ill check for you. The USB2 card will work fine, in put one in my Mirror door dual 867mhz. Bomb proof machines from those days!

It will be fine for simple computing and browsing

    holy thread resurrection batman…

Whats the tyre clearance like on these frames? can you comfortably run 2.3s without chainstay buzzing? look like great all rounder frames. Doesnt seem like any revisions in the last couple of years, is it due an update or is it going to be dropped?

Brant, can you shed any light on it?

    cheers

Am I missing something? You’re using your firms cycle to work scheme to buy your son a bike?

    M6TTF

I did one at a hall in Leicester somewhere. Was a tarmac stage using an evo and then loose stages in something else. Great fun but over far too quickly.

    Lol that’s brilliant

The way I see it in lamens terms is the bike will accelerate faster, ie be snappier off the mark and handle better due to the lower lower weight, but it’s not going to add any significant speed, especially with the nature of off road riding

Some of the most regarded whiskys are blends. I’d imagine it takes a lot more skill and knowledge to create a successful blend. I used to dismiss blends but have sampled a few and have been pleasantly surprised. Got a bottle of monkey shoulder for Xmas, it’s very drinkable 🙂

Let her get on with it. You have tried, she doesn’t care. She clearly doesn’t respect you so walk away – it’s her problem.

Say she kills someone and you didn’t try everything to help the friend – id feel pretty guilty in that position. If she won’t listen then get the boys in blue to pay a visit
