Check the T&Cs for the company that refurbed them. Most only offer 12 mths. Diamond cut wheels are poop for longevity. Worth calling – they may offer a good will gesture

And in a polo sized car, it makes a lot of sense. But for a family saloon/coupe, I’m not keen. Residuals are always a consideration. After four years, it’s good to know there’s a reasonable trade in value left

The 200 miles a week is just commuting miles, not taking into account any family miles. So I’m probably on the cusp of what’s considered worthy of buying diesel. Having had 200+ bhp I’m not really keen to get into a 1.4 ecoboost revbox. I realise the modern engines have come on leaps and bounds, but I’m not in the market for a brand new car. My Leon averages 28 to the gallon, so anything that’s got grunt, is plush and does around 40 to the gallon would be good.

Have the standard guides on my spectral 7 ex. Great feel, but a shitbag to get a good bleed. Way harder than tHe elixirs ever were

Think I waited about 6 weeks for an appt from consultation. They did ring and offer a cancellation after a few weeks but it wasn’t convenient with work commitments. Wished I’d manned up and done it years ago.

got an ATV2 and i reverted it back to factory. tbh you are better off with a firestick for kodi duties – the atv2 is long in the tooth and doesn’t cope with with it well at all anymore

Bloody ear infection that’s making my jaw hurt. Had it a month now. GP gave me dropss, which eased it, but as soon as I stopped using them it’s back. More hassle trying to get back in to get some antibiotics. Minging chest too. Put me down!

grey pair of 177s here – very comfortable, really well made. My only preference for a fit revision, would be a little more room in the front, as i find the pockets only useful for a car key or small change. And id prefer a good inch and a half off the height of the waist band.

Custom fit trousers for the future!?!?!

as has already been mentioned – the interior is high on the steal list – a quick look at the VAG scene cars shows just how many RS4 interiors find their way into golfs and A3’s.

yes, in a heartbeat. loved it. but there’s not many left in good shape. (was only 500 to begin with here) The chassis legs ripped with the torque.

No idea Danny – but it sounds intriguing. It’s one of those personalised reg numbers that everyone loves to hate :)

hope pro 3 pawls are almost identical – I’ve been using those in my ROAM 30 for 6 months now, and they work perfectly. the springs were a fraction longer, and a little narrower in depth, so I snipped a couple of mm’s off the end.

There’s a ‘scene’ lupo with the most ridicule wheel set up you have ever seen. They extend a good 5″ beyond the arches. All for ‘look at me’

Good choice Mboy, I love Martin Millers. I just got a bottle of Forest Gin as a leaving gift, well chuffed. Got a bottle of Thomas Dakin at the airport when we went away. Manchester Gin, also really good
